Ok so since some of us seniors will be having our prom comeing up in several months if thought id start this thread. Any thoughts idea's suggestions you want to offer, or questions you may have post in this thread.

To start off here's some of mine:

I am having trouble finding somone to go to prom with, there is a girl that is hot and would go with me and probbly have sex with me on the evening of, and also allow me to be more social durring the event. On the other hand I don't want a relasionship with this girl, there is serveral others I want to acually go on a date with or ask, some have date's already :(

When choosing somone to go with what should I look for? Is a gr 11 or a Gr 12 girl better? I was thinking gr 12 becuase it is her prom too. Also how would I go about asking? One girl I asked on the topic told me she would like somthing fancy done such as having you invite in some romantic way ie. spelling it out in a food, candy...

Any Ideas? Also any questions etc.

GO!

Ooh...I've got prom coming up in late April...need to start getting a date ready!

Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.

I've had the most beautiful, intelligent, and all-around greatest girlfriend for a few months so I'm not too concerned about finding a date...but I could always use some romantic methods for asking her to prom. It's a memorable event, it should be matched (preferably surpassed) by an equally memorable action.

Come on you innovative geniuses, throw me a bone!

Dude

Get something that says

since you've broken the ice,

will you be my prom date

then freeze it in a block of ice

and send it to her class or something with a chisel or hammer

i would ask someone to prom, but don't u have to rent a limo and spend tons of money? this will be my first year going to prom (11), is it a lot different from the other dances?

Depending on the limo, you can fit eight to ten people comfortably inside it. That's about $40 a person. And if you already have your suit from homecoming and previous dances you'll probably only need a new tie to match your date for about $20. Tickets vary, but I think thay're typically around $40 so buy your date something nice (flowers) for $20 and you're looking at a total of less than $150 which definitely isn't bad.

It's not too different to us men, but our female counterparts put HUGE emphasis on it as a major milestone in life.

It's fun though, you should definitely go and grab a date.
