I think a lot of newbie confusion occurs because people often try to emulate the tactics they hear without understanding the principle behind them. This is especially confusing because some tactics contradict in certain circumstances. You shouldn't show any interest in her. No, don't be rude. No don't show you're attracted to her. No don't show you're not attracted.
All the advice given here, what to wear, the body language, the behavior, are just tactics to express one idea. That one idea is probably obvious to you, but I don't think it has being clearly identified because I see a lot of people misinterpreting when to apply tactics. The point to all these tactics is this...
You are trying to project that you have a HIGH VALUE
There. Simple right? That's what it all boils down to. All the methods and tactics essentially are trying to accomplish this same goal. You are trying to make a woman think that you have a high value as a human being and this is what makes her attracted to you. They greater value they think you have, the more you will succeed with women. And you must make her think that your value is AT LEAST higher than hers to succeed.
Let's look at some examples:
Peacocking: The message that peacocking sends out is this "I have such confidence in my high value, that I don't care if I look weird. I don't need to fit in and look normal because my value is so much higher than that."
Don't buy her a drink: The message is "I have such high value that I don't need you and I don't need to lower myself to earn your interest. I have plenty of other opportunities."
Loud confident voice: "I'm not ashamed of what I have to say, I believe it to be of high value because I am of high value."
Now we all know that you shouldn't stand in the rain outside a girl's apartment with flowers hoping that she'll see how nice you are and decide to like you. We understand why this is a bad idea. But with this idea of projecting a high value it becomes super clear.
Giving a girl flowers: The message is "I lack value. I am simply not good enough. In order to compensate for my lack of value, I am giving you these flowers. If I had a high enough value I wouldn't need to give you these flowers. Take care of them because if they die then you just have me and I am not enough." The best part is that unlike the other examples which demonstrate value through behavior, this also includes a PHYSICAL object, the flowers, to show you lack value. You might as well wear a sign that says, "I lack value".
So when you are wondering if a certain behavior is a good idea or a bad idea, ask yourself this question, "Does it project that I have a high value?" If you can say yes than it is a good idea. Maybe if everyone did that it would cut down on the number of threads in Discussion.
Go ahead and list more tactics and I will explain how it sends out a message that you have a high value.
