Making a list of things you want in a woman isn't a bad idea, and there's nothing wrong with being picky if you're looking for a LTR.

Along with the good traits, you should be listing the bad traits that you absolutely DO NOT want in a woman. Here's an example:

Occasinally, you may encounter a trait that you don't like, but her good traits may outweigh it. You'll have to decide if you can live with this trait (ie likes Country music) or if you absolutely cannot tolerate it.
