Yay to drmeathead. He said what I was eluding to: The military guy is no better than us. There are pricks everywhere, even in the military. Men are men and when they don't respect other men SH!T like this happens, military or not.

Why should I feel guilty for a guy who voluntarily signs up to go overseas to possibly get killed under someone else's definition of freedom? Shouldn't we respect the guy regardless of all the political fluff? Shouldn't we try to have some decency because he's overseas and he's still committed to his woman?

I mean there are guys overseas right now studying abroad and their girlfriends are out screwing someone else and saying "I miss you! I love you!" To her LDR chump.

Military shouldn't mean sh!t when getting in between a relationship, period.

My main man EyeDogg,

You've made your case to this broad. You've been out, thrown your hook, she bit into it and now has you wrangled in the line. She is so desperate for an ego stroke she's willing to betray a man who is putting his life at risk for ideals we teach here. This is a man who believes his woman is waiting for him to come back (if in fact he makes it back in one piece) so they can build a future. She may be his only motivation.

This is an entirely new level of indecency and shows nothing to this broad's character.

If I were you I would let this b!tch grab another mutt around the neighborhood to fvck. If he's lucky the worst he'll catch are fleas. If he's unlucky and this poor bastard comes back with a vendetta he'll catch a bullet.

Is it worth it? You're a better MAN than this broad deserves.

I know it.

drmeathead - I thought the exact same thing over the days. And I see your points (no brother is better then another for their chosen profession). And during those thoughts, is when I was the closest to considering being that "mutt" my brother Karma mentions. I stopped those thoughts.

KontrollerX - you have no idea how similar this BF and I are (just starting with our ethnic backgrounds and family structures) and so Pooks "bro vs. bro" idea has really struck home. I can't do this guy like that! And I won’t. Also, I believe years back in my previously married AFC state, I believe I did become morally bankrupt.

It did not occur overnight, its a slow and ugly process and the person you become is not "joyous" to deal with (as Senor F mentioned). My divorce over a year ago was the road to my New Life as a DJ, as Real Man of High Character and Morals. Morals, which I was taught all my life by an incredible Father figure (who still exists today). And when I ask myself, "man, what would my Father think of this...well, shyt! He kick my f'n ass for evening having dinner with the bytch!) So I am on the road to a higher path and there will be temptations abounding - whether they are females or vices. As of today, I am glad it happened, I was tested and I came away a stronger person.

ThunderM - I agree.

LMS - Wow, you read my mind. I’ve considered it. However, I just walked away did not look back at the situation and all its possibilities (thoughts on doing that vs. other options LMS?)

Karma - brother, thank you kindly for the encouraging words! You have been a rock for me man. And it's ironic; I was just at the gym (where I do not make it a practice to DJ women, let alone talk to women that i do not know such as this girl. She sparked the convo with me) TRYING TO IMPROVE ON MYSELF and my appearance, my long term health, etc. And - BAM, a temptation! I am a better MAN - and a better person for walking away.

Thanks ALL for your insight and support - much appreciated!

i agree with the fishing in the tainted well analogy. this girl does come with baggage. too much for me personally but to each his own.

a girl saying she has a bf is basically saying that there will be drama at some point. i agree that this isnt worth it if you have other options. however to each his own.

as far as the millitary goes, i agree that while being it the millitary makes this affair worse. it is not the fault of the guy. it doesnt really matter from his angle. however from her angle, it makes her cheating even more vile.

i find no excuse for cheating. it is ****ty. the circumstances dont make it any more or less wrong. if you dont want to remain exclusive with the person, tell them. it isnt that hard.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Here is my point. Unless people in this board has gone to Combat...NO ONE has a right to say that those in the military serving in combat are the same as us. They are NOT. Having them serving in combat in a voluntary military is allowing us sit in our arses in front of a computer.

I feel that is disgraceful and quite literally unpatriotic to even imply that people that are getting shot at while serving our military are the same as us. They are not.

And I will go even further and say that we can debate who is "more American" when it comes to people like us. But NO ONE can debate that those military dudes are American as they have proven that already.

My final point is simple...when a man puts puzzy ahead of integrity and the likes, then that man ceases to be a man. There are plenty of women out there. If it was up to me...any man that sleeps with the woman of a man already serving overseas in a War...should be drafted and send out there. That's how strongly I feel about this.

a good portion of the volunteer millitary were slackers and losers that couldnt cut it. lets be serious about what our fighting forces of the stock of which our fighting forces are composed. the best and the brightest, for the most part, are not enlisted men in our army. think about the kids from your high school that signed up. they were the ones, for the most part, couldnt cut it in college or even trade school. now the ones that go to the service academies, sure. they are hot ****.

while your argument about heroes fighting terrorism may have been applicable two years ago in iraq and may still apply in aftghanistan in selective doses, it isnt valid today. there is no reason for us involvment in iraq right now. they have no weapons and no leaders. there is no reason for us to be there. by the time it would take for the us to get out, they could have a government set up if they want. the problem is they dont want to.

And don't forget there are many "grunts" who want to go over there to kill "haka-lakas". I've met some of them. They were a disgrace. drmeat is right about the government rounding up the poorest and the dumbest, not their own children for front line duty.

There's also problems with the U.S. military following orders that aren't in the U.S. citizen's constitutional interest. I mean you've heard of the military going around to rich neighborhoods during hurricane Katrina rounding up guns from private gun owners in the name of "safety". Total violation of the 2nd amendment.

Under this article, troops are asked if they would shoot American citizens under martial law:

http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/february2008/020408_shoot_americans.htm

Henry Kissinger says soldiers are "dumb, stupid animals to be used"

http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2003/06/266114.shtml

I can understand protecting our borders from enemies foreign and domestic. (Our borders AREN'T being protected in the least!) I can understand if we are being invaded. If the U.N. came to town with their military and tried to enforce on us a f*cking curfew you'd better believe I'd enlist. I cannot however, respect a government that willingly uses it's soldiers to go over to another country to kill citizens who don't want them there all in the name of "peace". (nevermind that we invaded under false pretenses...ON PURPOSE!) I'm not going to hide behind patriotism.

What is going on currently is wrong and the soldiers are being used like pawns. Also, I can only have so much respect for someone who blindly follows without looking at the facts. In fact I HAVE talked to a few soldiers who feel Iraq is an unjust cause. THOSE soldiers I have the up most respect for. Even the drunken soldier who almost killed me while drunk driving said he didn't want to go to Iraq because it was bulls*it.

Without integrity, you are just another empty vessel like 95% of the population.

When you stand for nothing, you fall for everything.

Personally I dont do married or any kind of committed women. I have way too many options and if I didn't, at least I would have my integrity.

And that I will never compromise.

Surround yourself with disgraceful people and surely you will end up one.

Maybe Thunder and DrMeat should be drafted into the military. But then again...I doubt they can even cut it.

I totally agree, my friend.

But let's not leave HER out of this either though (and I don't think you did). Her 'best friend/lover' is off risking his life IN COMBAT to serve our country, and she cannot even stay faithful to him. It's up to a stranger (guru) to show her boyfriend some respect for his mission, because the girl he thinks as the love of his life clearly is not going to do so. What a wh0re.

What worries me is when her boyfriend comes home a year later. What if by that time, she (just) got pregnant? Then he will end up supporting someone else's kid.

Cute little try at a ad hominem attack, Latino. We should be drafted? What is this, nazi germany?

Hm. Maybe you should be drafted, that way when you're gone I'd be able to bang you wife with ease. :D

True story-

This thread is following closely the path of the recent thread on the wisdom(or stupidity) of fukking any married woman who is willing...
The same polar opposite views have emerged, albeit with a twist this time because the B/F is a serving soldier in harms way.

Thunder Mav's meandering 'rationale' is lame and Dr Meathead should know better.
Geez you guys, read the quote above from The Guru and write it on your fridge.

We are expected to act like men, with honor and respect for other men - not like some opportunistic bottom feeders..

Jo, I'm not going to explain how I feel about this situation AGAIN in a 4th reply.

My sentiments are the EXACT same as Guru's. However, I have exceptions. Military men are NOT exempt from them. NO. MAN. IS.

F*cking DUH!

Wow. Ignore my points. Please ignore them!

Edit: My last reply to Latino was a sarcastic jab. You obviously didn't catch it because you ignored my last replies.

My personal boundary is that I never have sex with married women. Any less - engaged, dating, or single - and its all systems go!

This woman seems like a real harlot who sleeps around. So, she could be good for sex but not much else.

However, I fail to see the morality issue with banging the chick of a deployed soldier. His profession should not be part of the issue. You don't even know this man, so why do you care about what he does for a living? If it's about "national servitude" and "preserving democracy", then why doesn't it extend to garbagemen and janitors? Your life would be a hell of a lot worse without them, so why wouldn't your honor code that prevents you from bagging a soldier's girlfriend stop you from doing the same with the garbageman's?

My opinion is to pump and dump. If you don't do it, someone else will.
