Bumping an old question. About how long does it take for you to realize your profits. Do you take a look at the prices in the morning, buy units and then by night time know whether you won or lost?

Obviously you have to check up on it during the day, and not all deals are the same, but rough average?

Well using Dealbook just go to statements and detail transactions and it will say.

after losing 800 dollars trying to figure out how everything works i gained about 221. I think I'm getting the hang of this. I still don't know how to put a stop on so that it automatically sells if it drops too much. Damn, this is like a game to me. I'm glad it's just a demo for now. I would've been pissed if I had of lost 800 bucks in 3 hours.

My main Forex account, I had 2.2 mill in there a few days ago but it took out 1 mill because of the Villa I’m buying. You all know my name by now thanks to that little girl so it doesn't matter that you can see it on the top left corner. Even if it was googled its mine hahahaha look at the name.

Game over, Angelus You just proved what i had been saying all along - you're a fraud. It's just your luck that i'm a photographer, which pretty much makes me an expert in photographs, photo cameras and digital image editing tools. The pics are fake. Just to be on the safe side, i asked a few dozen other experts to confirm, and they came to the same conclusion.


SHOE PIC: The picture of the shoes was taken with a photo camera. It is a real picture, and so are the objects shown in it. However, 99% of the members here could easily go to the bank, withdraw $1000 and do the same. Whether or not those shoes cost $400 is debatable. They could be $75. More likely than not, this photo isn't even yours and came from Google or Flickr. Regardless, even if you did take it, it proves absolutely nothing.

GF PIC: This is the real kicker. The photo itself (not the writing) is real, but was taken with a different camera than the first one. In fact, it was taken with a webcam, not a digicam like the first photo. The resolution is different, so is the quality. The letters "sosuave.com" were edited in with Photoshop's brush tool. If anyone here has any doubts, i could create a copy of this image with "hellokitty.com" instead of "sosuave.com" and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. So yea, the writing is fake. Here are the 10: responses, ALL OF THEM SAYING THE PICS ARE FAKE:

NOTE: On the board, i posted the gf pic first and the shoe pic second, which is why the gf pic is referred to as the "first pic."

the lettering is fake, it wouldnt be that clearly visible

top one [gf pic] is photoshopped in...the shadows would cover the letters making them much harder to read

the top one [gf pic] looks like a crappy mspaint

First one [gf pic] was taken, then someone wrote the letters in probably with a tablet. It's a really ****ty watermark I'm sure...

i'm thinking different camera. The second pic [shoe pic] was taken with an Ixus and the first pic has no EXIF data. First pic is 96dpi and the second is
180dpi

writing is obviously chopped, dunno about it being the same camera

SCREENSHOTS: You screwed up pretty bad here. These pics weren't even taken on the same machine. The machine used for the Forex pic has Windowblinds installed (the top toolbar isn't blue), the second pic is just the standard Win XP theme. Now, you claimed to have your broadband and Forex on one machine, so this is now clearly a lie. Also, one machine has the taskbar set to auto-hide and the other doesn't. The Primus pic is yours, the other obviously isn't. You just edited your name in there, just like you did with the letters "sosuave.com" on the gf pic. FAKE!

So yea, you just proved what i had been saying all along. You're a fraud. Good game, better luck next time.

I don’t advise jumping in so fast but if 1k isn't much to you than go for it. I posted some trading rules in this thread and a trading plan. At the very least take a look at the rules and follow them, without discipline you will lose all your money it is important you follow a set of rules.

Following rules and having discipline is what separates the good forex traders from the bad.

What indicators are you using right now?

Thanks for the reminder. I think I gave the wrong impression that I was going to jump in with real money right away. I plan to use real money when I start out, but i'm going to do my homework first.

At this point, I absolutely am not confident in my knowledge of the FX market. I'm plan to continue to learn more, come up with my own strategies, test them out and see if they hold up. I am more curious about FX than anything else. And if I get proficient enough, then i'll have some fun and start with 1k.

I've been using the EMA, RSI, SO indicators you suggested. When I looked up their definitions, I was surprised that they were simple math concepts. The fancy names sound so complicated.

FYI, DealBook FX2 doesn't use the windows UI. It uses a more generic UI, not sure which, so the application can be ported to other operating systems.

Look at the pictures i posted of my gf and car. NO ONE can say they're fake. These ones, EVERYONE believes to be fake. This isn't even debatable. The letters were faked, badly faked at that. Period.
