the naturals in high school years later

i'm now in my late twenties and i've been noticing a trend with the guys who used to pull nines and tens years ago. it's been happening quite often that i just had talk about it.

i know one guy who just married some girl. everyone was surprised he married her. everyone was under impression he could get so much better. i personally was surprised as well. after all, this guy was with a few nines/tens in high school times.

another guy is now boyfriend/girlfriend with some girl who's a seven at most. they both knew each other years ago, and yet they're now in relationship. this guy pulled mad hotties years ago. people are like, "he's with HER?"

these are just a couple of examples. there's many more and i'm guessing that guys my age can attest to this.

so what's happening here? did the naturals transform into AFC's? or maybe hotties are just more difficult to get with as we get older? whatevers

Huh? You need to reread the Bible, guy. Being with 7's and "HER" is AFC?

Doubt it.

I think it's rather a case of them going w/ someone that is better on the whole than simply being with someone for looks.

Guys who peaked in high school did just that: peaked in high school.

Most of the hotties from my class (long time ago) look like absolute sh-t, and the big, popular guys, well, they've let themselves go.

I find it humorous. Pathetic fools thought life was at its best when they were 17.

People change. What was valued in high school isn't always valued in adult life. I know several high school "alphas" who are now majorly beta, because they slacked or let themselves go, and vice versa.

Very few of the naturals I knew in high school are doing very well these days. I think maybe one has his shyt together.

Alot of the others got heavy into the party lifestyle. They have drug problems. Drink problems. Crap jobs.

I see some them - they're bloody doormen at bars now.

Alot of them see me and can't believe how much I have not aged.

I look at them with their attitude gone, their beer bellies and receding hairlines, and think, 'life it good'.

I know alot of people who got heavily into drugs like Cocaine, Crack etc.

I never did drugs. I never even smoked pot much really. When I drank I only drank beer.

This is part of the reason I haven't gone downhill, if anything, alot of people have commented that I get better looking as I age.

It's hard drugs and alcohol that contribute to aging. The "naturals" were the ones drinking the most in high school.

Man, I can't believe I've overlooked this thread. I've got a story for you all.

I grew up lterally living across the street from a guy who's been one of my best friends to this day named Mario. He and his younger brother were lady-fvcken-killers in their early teens. Their mother was full blood Spanish descent and thier father was full Italian, so these guys matured really early on and had the European dark hair, headlight blue eyes and were naturally muscular. By 14 y.o. Mario was (no lie) fvcking 19 and 20 y.o. chicks - he looked a lot older than 14 and took complete advantage it.

We were always good friends, but I once had a girl LJBF me and said she "just wasn't looking for a boyfriend" then. That was until one week later she lost her virginity to her new boyfriend Mario, who later dumped her for some college chick, heh,..funny.

At 18 Mario joined the Navy and I went on to play rockstar in Hollywood. During his enlistment he knocked up a girl (also in the Navy) and his very Catholic parents forced him to marry her at 20 y.o. So he played Daddy during his 20s while I was tapping ass like a starving man at a buffet who just figured out how to use a knife and fork.

After I got married I reconnected with him and discovered he had gotten divorced and was about to marry this HB 9+ woman from Polland he'd met in Europe. I also found out that his brother had followed in his footsteps and had 2 unplanned kids and was struggling to make things work as an owner of an autobody shop. Neither one of these guys considered college, heh,..

Damn, I have to just laugh now at how I used to grind my teeth over how many chicks these guys used to pull out from under me in high school and compare it to now.

I really dont think that the "number scale" of female hottness is always reflective of a guy's DJ ability.

Wouldnt you rather have a cute girl that has developed a fantastic personality and good character rather than a HB 9-10 with a dump truck full of issues just waiting to be dumped on YOU?

Now Im not saying that there arent beautiful women with equally beautiful personalities, but it's such a trap getting hung up on that HB number crap.

I can agree with you on the peaking thing. I went to my high school reunion back in 2000 and there were some people that were attractive in high school and looked REALLY bad in thier late 20's. A lot of the attractive chicks got "baby guts" and became fatties or age just simply started kicking thier azz. The guys that had it going on back in H.S. looked like shyt too. :crackup:

I agree with the point a few of the other guys brought up, that being these high school naturals don't know when to take a break and focus on life.

I was one of these HS guys on that post-HS path until I moved away when I was 23 and had to start over again, which led to reality, which led to a lot of hard work, more schooling, ect. If it wasn't for that move I'd be one of these bumbs too.

But there are a small percentage of guys who continue getting the women regardless on where they end up in life because they are just naturally very social people and are well recieved by most.

My old HS wingman is like this. He's just a landscaper now and spends a few months unemployed every year. He hangs around motorcycle clubs and has no real future, but he's still getting very attractive women that most guys would think are way over his head.

This guy was/is truly a natural. The rest of us that were successful with women in HS just had the right formula then, but either have to shape up and make some real changes or just continue on the same old beaten bath and lose it. Most just lose it.

That sounds about right. Last I seen of him he was seeing this girl who's daddy was a record producer. She bought him a Camaro or an Iroc...some sh-t like that (which he totaled). Ended up dumping her for a not as hot party chick that drove around a beater (perfect match) and he was completely into her. Never tried to change him. So yeah. He probably got sick of being the psychology project all of the time.

Older chikcs aren't as easy ... LOL. Supply and demand bro'; young chicks in general (especially if they aren't fat) have SHV (super high value) lots of dudes chasing; older chicks have LV (low value); few dudes chasing.

You're right about that bro!!! It actually gets easier as they get older. A woman is a depreciating asset much like a car.

LOL this post cracks me up. I went to a catholic school and had the same group of friends growing up. I went to public school and was popular in my grade but picked on by the older kids. Got in a ton of fights, was always angry, didnt care what people thought, had a 1.something gpa, graduated, got into a local college on a provisional status, earned full status and ended up graduating with a 3.9 gpa. All of a sudden one day i looked around the bar i was at and realized the people who were the **** in HS were not the laughing stock of the bar. I came to the conclusion that im glad i didnt bloom until i did because the best years are still ahead of me.
