What amazes me is looking at the post counts of a LOT of the members who are the quickest responders. Sweet Mother Mary, they must average 8,000 posts! With the notable exception of FRANCISCO, most members here don't post even half as much. When do they find time to do anything else?

And look at yourselves, grown men planning "assualts" on another online forum. It's like the sharks Vs. The Jets (perhaps less gay...) Have you honestly nothing more productive to do with your time?

I'm all for helping others, but 1) They don't want it and 2) We've got enough guys that need help here.

Let the record show I made an attempt to inject some much needed sanity to this effort before people dived in. It is in all likelihood a fools errand, and of course you cannot teach those unwilling to learn, but who's doing the learning here, LS members or SS members?

While I seriously doubt anyone will make any converts there, with post counts as high as they are there, try to look at this in perspective. Notice how quickly the LS guys are to default to identifying with the woman? Notice how ready they are to redefine their masculinity to accommodate them. Even in relative anonymity they assume the feminine by default. Even just making a casual observation about women is presumed to be an attack and met with accusations of 'typical misogyny'.

I don't think some "invasion" of LS is in anyway useful to change anyone's mind over there, however, it's good to see the rationales and observe the schemas these guys use and poke holes in them. We get a little too used to hearing our own voices here on SS. I think going over to LS and experiencing (flawed as they are) AFC rationales can be educational.

I have just returned from a RECON mission over @ Loveshack. I have surveyed the area, I have assessed the amount of troops we are up against-----and the odds are STACKED-----but NOT in our favor.

However, although they may have more people, WE, have more MANPOWER. WE have more weapons in OUR arsenal. WE have a greater will to WIN than they do.

And THIS is why we will emerge triumphant. To those who think this battle to be futile----I RESPECT your opinion. But it is NOT for ourselves alone that we fight, and it is NOT for ourselves alone that we expend this amount of energy---or MOBILIZE this large of a military strike.

No, we do this because many of our ASSes REMEMBER a time when we were on the edge, dangerously dangling between the life of being a MAN, or remaing a fukking WIMP.

Many of us remember how hard we searched----but did NOT find an answer. Not because the TRUTH wasn't "out there", but simply because NO ONE took the time to point the way!

How much further along, and how much MORE successful could some of us have been if we would have been given a hint, a clue, A DIRECTIVE toward true manhood EARLIER???

THIS is why we fight.

Sometimes, it's not possible, or even NECESSARY to save the whole goddamned WORLD.

Actually VU, even though that was a warning post, it makes me feel better because sometimes I can get the idea that it's ALL status. You're saying women can actually like the guy for who he is, and in addition to that, status could be a factor. So in a roundabout way your warning was more reassuring to me.

Yep, for me it's paying back a debt of gratitude.

I was saved by one guy, posting a link to here. Now I might have been the only guy he saved (he got a lot of **** over there for posting it), but imagine the good that's come from saving just me.

My friends are better, and enjoy my company more.
Girls get the honour of meeting this awesome me, enriching their lives.
I will save a few guys I know along the way who can carry this all on.

Again, if I save just one poor guy, it'll been worth it.

As far as me posting over there, the main difference would be that I wouldn't be flamed every time I said something because there are tons of more women over there, so they aren't as "threatening". I believe the plural of the possesive form of guy is guys'. Anyway this is the biggest crock of sh1t iqqi.
