Any of you guys on this? It seems to be selective. A semi-celebrity cousin of mine met a high-value guy on there and they just got married.

I applied back in late 2019, right before covid. I recently got an email saying I have been “accepted.” Yes, almost five years later. Not sure how they can run a dating app this way…? (I have in that 5 years found my now-wife).

If you are in, feel free to post / discuss.

What criteria do they use to determine eligibility? What sort of personal info do you have to disclose beyond name and age?

To join, you have to go through an application process where you link your LinkedIn and other social media accounts so they can verify you.

There's a waitlist, and they prioritize applicants based on their jobs and education. They place a lot of importance on having attended top (ivy league) schools and having a solid professional background.

They review each application to keep the community small. Members need to follow community guidelines to stay respectful and courteous, or risk getting kicked out.

Plus, you have to stay active on the app or you might end up back on the waitlist.

Emphasis Ivy League, hence the name. If you went to Bob’s University chances are nil.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

If you have all the above going for you, the only reason you need an app to meet someone is an undesirable mental state.

You’d be surprised.

Apparently I got in.

I found out about the app on a red eye flight from California back to EWR in 2019. I got complimentary upgraded to first class. Guy next to me was a techie type. High income but very much aligned with what you would imagine for a tech industry white dude from the Bay Area. He was going ham on the app. Showed me a bunch of hot blonde girls. He said- “you need to download this and apply. It’s a goldmine.” I applied the next day. Got approved in 2024 lmaooo

It's not worth it lmao.

My ex got on it and invited me when we started doing our FWB thing. I'm poor but I got accepted, so that's cool I guess.

I live in Delaware so I only saw the same 4 or 5 women every single time I checked the app...it gives you a selection on a rotating basis, but there seem to be so few users that you go through it incredibly fast...it might be better for women but it is absolutely terrible for men. And the ones I did see weren't even anything special...like they were cute but it's not like I'm suddenly looking at Miami-quality women...I remember seeing one or two of them on Tinder/Bumble too.

So yeah, you're not missing out. But this is every dating app for men...this guy FitXFearless on YouTube did a whole makeover for this dude to get him matches on the dating apps; had to buy premium versions of the apps, boosts, invest in a photographer and nice clothes, etc.

This guy did this for his own profile and would go through and swipe on whoever liked him and despite being a rich buff dude in Miami with all this investment into his profile most of the girls were extremely average, maybe slightly above at best...

Half the girls I swipe on aren't even real anymore - they got "add me on snap" with a name that doesn't even match up with their profiles and always have the tag "New Here"...dating apps are supplementary AT BEST.

EDIT: @Pierce Manhammer unless something changed, I didn't have to pay a dime.

It's not completely useless though, it can give you bragging rights on manosphere forums.

It’s also $400/mo
An app to keep broki's away, ha ha I love the concept. Is it $400 for women as well? I can't picture a smokeshow paying for it.

Makes sense here is part of the review

The takeaway
The League is an exclusive dating app that does a great job of matching career-driven people with like-minded professionals. It’s one of the best options for people who want to date intentionally and are looking for something long-term without a sense or urgency. If you’re new to dating apps, you’ll want to add this to your list to try—but be sure to check out our full guide for more of the best dating apps.
This app would work very well for professionals in a dense area i.e. New York, Chicago, Miami, LA etc
For guys in smaller towns like us you're better of using Hinge Or Bumble.

@$1400 a month, that’s pretty much at the point of putting romance up high as a core value, which most masculine men don’t. Romance is an afterthought for anyone who actually gets girls.

I actually don’t know anyone in real life who’s an actual ladies man that puts that much price/emphasis on dating. Women are just around them all the time and they talk about other stuff like sports, business, etc.

This.

There's apparently a segment of men that are both financially well off and desperate for women. I don't know them, but judging movements like this and Tinder 500 bucks a month suggest they do exist.

At the end of the day it is all geared towards women who believe they can find a desperate HVM . No sane man wants a women who makes x amount of money. Character is way more important.

I guess OP got selected because they are desperate at this point.

I know some guys in the tech field, not lookers make good money but they can't get a woman to save their lives. Gamich you always talk about looks and I totally agree a woman will fucc a broke jacked 6'4 guy before a 5'2 pot-bellied tech nerd.

From some of the other responses in this thread, it doesn’t seem all that hard to get in. I’m sorry your application rejected :D

$400 a month to get access to a pool of +30yrs old career women claiming to date intentionally/look for something serious ... in other words, none of the guys she had sex with during the previous 10-15yrs thought she was worthy of commitment OR she has a truckload of issues that chased the guys away, so she ended up on The League, looking for a sap. :D
