Hey Double,

I have actually thought about the banana before bed a few times- and i'm happy to eat it around lunch instead. I think i will add another slice of ham to breakfast with the eggs... it sounds tasty anyhow.

Not sure about cottage cheese, but i'm on my way to the supermarket now- so ill check things out.

I haven't got scales yet- checking that out now aswell. But i think i'm about 73kg and 182cm tall. I'm really skinny tho... would like to at least achieve 80kg by the end of the year- which would mean a lot of fat lose aswell i think, therefore more than 7kg of muscle.

Laters.

Cheers.

Yo DD,

Yeah i just want to have that really ripped olympic sprinter look! Ok, maybe not quite as big, but u get my drift.

I'm still operating on the same diet, but have been unable to get to the gym as yet. My gym 'buddy' and I are swearing we are going tomorrow arvo no matter what. No fvckin army of anything can stop us.

Well post results as they fly in.

Cheers.

Went to the gym for the first time ever today. Had a bit of an introductory tour, got familiar with the gym and the process, machines, spaces etc.

Did a light work over the whole body, nothing serious.. not really looking at reps and sets today, just getting a feel for the types of exercises and making sure i've got the right technique.

I'm planning on going 3 times a week, sat morning, mon arvo and thurs arvo. Had a protein shake straight after and downed lots of water.

Can't wait to get stuck in properly this sunday [going away on sat]. Will post what happens.

Duke, how can i incorporate tuna or salmon into my diet? canned? on sandwhichs? I don't mind the protein shakes, they were out of vanilla so i have chocolate designer whey and i love it haha. just like a chocolate milk shake.

gotta study.

Went to the gym yesterday around 3pm for 75 minutes.
Rushed it a bit- need to remain patient and allow longer breaks between sets. Most weights will be in kg, x2.2 to get lbs.

Incline bench dumbell press.
10/10, 10/10, 8/12.5, 6/13.5, 3/17.5

Shoulder press.
8/9.9, 6/10.2, 4/11.4

Tricep pulldowns
10/15, 8/18, 6/20, 6/23

Shrugs
10/15, 8/18, 6/20, 6/23

Squats
10/10, 10/15, 10/40

Calve Raises
10/15, 8/25

Lat Bar pulldowns.
6/10, 6/20

Still need to do more deadlifts, rows, dips. But will divide this all up into a 3 day split of 1. Chest, shoulders & tris. 2. legs 3. back bicep.

Didn’t feel like I pushed myself too hard except for the 3/17.5 incline press. Still concentrating on form, getting more confident handling weights etc. Will try to stick to a routine after another week of not so heavy broader work outs. And stay away from machines.

Gym again today from 6-6.45 with a mate.

Incline barbell press.
10/25, 10/30, 10/30, 8/35

Barbell Bicep curls
5 x 10 reps of 20kg

Military press
10/10, 10/12, 8/15

Overhead Rows
10/25, 10/30, 6/45

Lat pulldowns
10/25, 10/35, 10/40

I'm not exactly sure of the statistics for the last two sets- they were machines and the weights didn't seem to be marked at all.

I feel much better worked today- but still not into a the routine i want to keep for at least 6weeks.

Water and shakes taste so good straight after workouts!
