...A broken heart.

Ran into a girl I hadn't seen in a month tonight and she noticed I had lost a ton of weight in my midsection. I had put some weight on this winter and was at 240 in February, and I hit 200 this week.

It honestly seems as though being satisfied in a relationship adds belly fat, and being inspired by a breakup burns fat - even if you don't change your routine.

Has anyone else noticed the correlation?

I'm dissapointed in you bigneil. You sat there and tricked your money off on a stripper and then you claim you have a brokenheart. Wheres the confident bigneil that was here a couple months ago. Seems like you relied on girls for confidence when it really should come from inside.

Well if you have a "broken heart (depressed)" you won't consume as much food and it will definitely show. Best of luck to you playa. Get back on your feet.

Beats having to diet.

Being in love can cause weight loss also. Some people eat when they're depressed, so they gain weight.
Pining over a woman though, that seems like a weight loss situation.

I wonder what the actual physical explanation for this is.
It must have something to do with hormones and/or neurotransmitters.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

You don't have a broken heart, you have a narcissistic injury.

But yes, you lose weight, beccause of the simple fact a lot of guys are less interested in food when they're depressed. Could also be that you're more anxious and thus use more energy. How tall are you? Because 240 is pretty damn huge.

I find that when I have no woman and I feel like a rabid dog chasing pvssy its much more easier to work out hard and ignore pain and tireness.

Probably related to serotonine level in our brain, the opposite is true with food, I tend to be attracted more from junk food outside the pleasure of a womans leg.

First, I was using poetic license for the "broken heart" as it went with "ripped abs". I meant single (and depressed).

Did you ever date a girl and not know how much she liked you until she didn't like you anymore?

@AlexDP I am 6'5" so 240 isn't that big.

I don't think we can have it both ways. You either get the girl you like best (and have oneitis) or you settle for a girl who you don't love.

I've noticed a tendency for women to get fatter when they have a man, they let themselves go pretty quickly.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.

For me it's the dinners. Usually I skip dinner and do all my eating early. But when I have a woman I share at least a couple dinners a week with her just to have something to do and that's all it takes. Then there's more drinking, I also party alot more when I have a woman around. Sex usually leads to a little nap, so yeah total weight gain material there. I was in a 7 year LTR and got up to 230 now i'm down to 200 and I look totally different.

Someone should develop some kind of ratio on a chart to show the fact that I firmly believe:

The fatter a woman gets with age the more physically unnattractive a guy it is she lets in her life.

For example in the case of a 5'2 to 5'4 girl
Girl weighs 115 pounds she wont go for anything less than a guy who is a 10
Girl weighs 120 pounds she wont go for anything less than a guy who is a 9
Girl weighs 125 pounds she wont go for anything less than a guy who is an 8
Girl weighs 130 pounds she wont go for anything less than a guy who is a 7
Girl weighs 135 pounds she wont go for anything less than a guy who is a 6

In other words as a girl gains weight her standards lower. That is really deppressing.
