OP is lucky he didn't die from a heart attack. That much caffeine is dangerous for your heart.
I took 4 no dozes when i was 13. My gouche clinched up so tight i thought it was gonna kill me

I think a no doze pill was around 200mg. Not sure, but i never took them again

I wish i could go back in time and throw it up

Coffee drinking is a sign of weakness. It’s a drug that yields dopamine, because apparently you can’t get it otherwise.
OR... maybe drinking coffee is one of the great pleasures of life. I used to drink it like a fish back when I was working. Now that I'm retired I find one cup a day is plenty. Like @BeExcellent said, moderation is key.

Last year I drank 8 espressos or so. These days I’m a knowledge worker at an office, and so far I drink regular coffee, like most people.

Coffee drinking is a sign of weakness. It’s a drug that yields dopamine, because apparently you can’t get it otherwise.

And I succumb. It leads me to happiness, and it happens to correlate with my creative flow. But I doubt I would have been less productive without. I don’t drink it to get through the day, but have had a cup after lunch, as some kind of confused quality time.

A respectable pattern is to have — at most — a single espresso max once per week. But if you’re this drug user, it’s hard to draw a line. Hence this post.

I think regular coffee drinking is detrimental for the man. However, it is very common, also among respectable men, and I question the harm it does. One advantage is that you consume something which doesn't lead to weight gain.

I self medicate with coffee because I feel a slight loneliness and resignation and sadness, and the comfort of this hot caffein mitigates that. But coffee doesn’t solve your problem, it just becomes a placeholder that leads you down to misery. My quest is therefore to actually solve my problems.
I need my coffee in the morning. I know i'm addicted to caffeine, but i don't care.

I also use snus throughout the day. I'm not addicted to the nicotine, i just like it.

Life is for living

Everyone has a vice: i.e. a guilty pleasure

And if you don't, you're weird.

Just don't make food your vice. Nobody likes a fatty

I never really liked coffee and only started drinking it for the health benefits. Didn't hate the taste but wasn't something I loved either.

Until I found that buying quality whole beans and grinding them yourselves changes the entire game...now I actually enjoy the taste of it, which is kinda nice since I don't doctor it up with anything and drink it black.
Organic Jamaican Blue Mountain. Absolutely my favorite. I make it in a vintage Pyrex glass percolator. I can absolutely drink it black.....but my guilty pleasure is heavy cream. Its wonderful and not bitter at all. The coffee is expensive but I keep it in the bag in the frig protected from heat or light until I go to grind & brew. I make about 2L at a time and that will last me all week at a cup a day. It ices and reheats nicely and is not bitter at all. So the expense for a 5lb bag of beans has more than paid for itself by saving me countless trips to Starbucks or Kerig cups (neither of which are as smooth).

My ex husband had a very high end Italian espresso machine in his bistro. I think he still has it (and never uses it - it draws 220 and needs a dedicated drain line.) I bought the darn thing for his business. I keep forgetting to ask him if he'd consider giving it up. It makes amazing espresso.

Pure Kona. Expensive and so good I refuse to brew it myself until I either go back to Hawaii or find a real cafe that can do it
