Height is like everything else... A factor. Just one. If you let it dominate your thoughts, you are done. Guess what? There is someone taller than *everyone* on this board, just like there is someone who is richer, someone who is buffer, and someone who has more charisma. That's life. Of course, the reverse is also true... Everyone here is taller than someone else, richer, buffer, and more charismatic. That's life.
Yes, being tall gives you immediate social proof. You will be seen as leaders, brave, etc. That is, until you open your mouth.
Yes, being short will hurt your game. You will be seen as lackies, cowards, friends, etc. That is, until you open your mouth.
As has already been pointed out, women are attracted to shorter men. Look at many of the current movie stars. And, they are attracted to taller men too. Look at many of the current movie stars. There is no "perfect" height. There is no "perfect" anything. Do the best with what you have. In the end, that will make the difference. It isn't where you start that matters, but where you finish.
