I used to work as a web designer at an adult entertainment-related company. We weren't a porn studio ourselves nor did we shoot any films, but this company had more to do with the business/marketing side of porn. As for the women themselves, I don't feel sorry for them. They are there because they choose to be. They don't have to be doing porn, but many of them go into it thinking they are going to be the next Jenna Jameson and make all this money. Most end up being washed up, broken and worthless. They've been stripped of all dignity. You'd be surprised how little porn chics even make. The guys as you'd expect practically work for free unless it's a famous guy like Peter North or someone with extraordinary abilities. I can't feel sorry for the girls because it's not like they're innocent victims. You get many forks in the road in life, and that is the one they choose to go down.
