Why are guys getting compared by their girlfriends with 'pretty boy' images on TV? Don't they know they're manipulated. Some girls have some seriously delusional world views.
This is a real problem for guys trying to get even a '1' or '2'. There's little to go on.
Another case in point, Beauty and the Beast.
I shouldn't hate on this Disney classic, but I really do.
Why did the beast turn back to a prince in the end? This scene completely contravenes the film’s message.
So it really is….true beauty is on the inside, but fvck that, outer beauty always prevails.
There are some girls who have actually expressed that they wanted that transformation to happen to their boyfriends, as if to say their boyfriends were not perfect enough to begin with. Charming. And these are girls who are living in the real world, where....newsflash.... most guys do not look like models.
WTF? Where I live I barely run into a woman who resembles Sophia Vegara but I recognise the many reasons why I should not expect to: its partly a geographical situation, yes, but also that magazine images are manipulated/Photoshopped and that some women do it to pay the rent or pay the bills or to feed the family, and that looking that good requires hard work and money.
If dating prospects are this bad or have gotten this bad, what is the point of anything in life? I'm currently filling in loads of job application forms with such a heavy heart, wondering...why am I doing this? If I have very little chance of dating because of this horsecrap, really nothing else matters if our life views are so delusional.
What are others' take on it?
