The "creepy old guy" thread

It's a vibe, man. You cant really define it, some guys are just creepy to girls. Girls have a "creep radar", and to be honest they are usually right. When a girl tells me a guy is creepy, I find out that he is either a pervert or sex offender. Sometimes he's just plain weird.

Some girls told me that a friend of mine was creepy when I was younger. And he was'nt a bad guy, but he was sexually desperate, not very attractive, and looked at a lot of porn.

Older (40+) guys who seek out young (18-25) girls tend to be seen as creepy. IMO, they're right, regardless of what some say. (i.e.--titguy)

Creepy Old Guy Syndrome.

Just be comfortable in your own skin. Don't sit there like a leperous and desperate guy who is way too fasinated by the youthful energy and beauty before him

I've seen older guys who look like deers in the headlight when there are hot young chicks around.

Be cool and don't give a crap about the 23 year-old-broad who is young enough to be your daugher but who you would love to hook up with if only it didn't seem so twisted, something you, as a Creepy Old Guy, are way too aware of. Something you wear on your sleeve like the guilty tell-tale heart.

I take mass transit to work sometimes and the morning commute is LOADED with high school girls. Some of them are cute, I can admit that I would love to do some of them in a society that allowed that legally, but I don't even give them a second look. There are times some of those girls instigate a little EC with a smile and I smile back but that is where it stops man. A little flirting, a little forbidden interaction. Am I creepy? Mmm, no, my perspective is perfectly healthy. Am I old? Mmm, yeah...well, maybe not OLD but getting there!

It's about balance and expectations and an overall perspective which is very honest about your own human nature.

How you look is indeed very important as to dicating your approach.

The 21 year-old gal I dated looked a bit older than her age (but still damn good), and we didn't look odd as a couple at all. Both very mod dressers. In one bar, the bartender even gave us a round on the house because we were such a "well dressed couple."

One amusing situation happened at a concert, in which I chatted up a woman for a bit, and when I asked for her #, she said: "You're just a kid." Then I asked her age, and it turned out she was younger than I am. Still didn't get the number, but it was steroids for the 'ol ego.

In fact, the "monkey's paw" side of looking very young for your age is that a lot of women who are near your age often balk out of embarrassment. It gets to be a sort of double-bind, if you know what I mean.

Haha, I had something similar happen a couple of months ago.

I was getting a ride from a few of the girls who work in the real estate office that I mainly deal with, when the topic of age comes up. One of the girls (who is smoking hot and looks about 26, btw) says something to me about being the oldest one in the car. I told her I doubt it, and she proceeds to tell me that she thought that I was younger than her. Not sure of her true age, but it's a nice ego boost to have younger chicks think they are older than you!

Another time was a couple of years ago when I had just started seeing my 21yr old g/f. I was out with her and her 19 yr old friend having dinner, when they carded my girl and I for drinks. At the end of the meal somehow the topic of age came up and the waitress says, "WOW! I thought all of you were just a bunch of students coming from school. I would have had no idea you are quite a bit older!"

As long as I still get compliments like that, I think I'm doin' OK.

I do salsa dancing. There's a wide range of ages into this, and older guys do dance with young hotties, some of the younger ones seek the mature man out.

Anyhow, I've talked to some women there on dancing, socializing with older guys, and it gives insights. I was off of the dance floor watching one gal just mesmerized with an older man and a younger gal dancing. I asked her what's so captivating. She said it's wonderful when a man gives a woman room to smile.

That seems to gel with the whole "creepy" thing. If a 50 year old is gawking at a young gal like a teenage guy with his first boner, the man isn't acting his age. It just comes off as wierd. If a mature man shows he knows a woman, whoa, that's something a 22 year old can't offer.

"old" and "creepy" are mutually exclusive. there are PLENTY of young creepy dudes out there...the 28 year old engineer, no friends, no dates, still lives with his mommy, greasy hair, no social skills, blow up doll in the basement, and drives a mazda miata.

almost all of the dudes on "Beauty and the Geek" would fall into this category. bet you $100 bucks that 20% of the dudes on THIS site fall into the creepy category.

"creepy" can be defined as the Supreme Court has defined "obscenity"...

you can't define it, but you know it when you see it

Oh! OK, now I understand. That's why, right between a Lamborghini and a Bentley, Playboy listed the '06 MX-5 Miata as one of the "Hot Cars of 2006".
Seems they were appealing to all of their many gay readers. Guess I'll have to forget about girls and find some guy to soundly bugger me from behind!
