Have a look at this brief infield video of Tyler Durden pulling a woman off the street, I'd like your impressions. Fast forward to the 2:54 mark to see the clip:

This is a nice ballsy move by Tyler. I do believe women are attracted to bold confident moves like this. Of course, grabbing a woman in a club is one thing, grabbing a woman off a dark street is another. It wouldn't take much imagination for a woman to think she is being mugged - you could see something like this going very badly. However, I've noticed that if a poster brings something like this up on the RSD forum, they are heavily ridiculed.
At the very least they would tell you that you are uncalibrated if you can't pull something like this off.

Also impressive is the way he brings up intercourse twice almost immediately:
"We're just fvcking around".

My real question is do you think this video is real? I say this because I've read of rumors that RSD pay women to flirt with their students at their bootcamps. Could this girl be in on it? There's something about the way Tyler steps out and moves on her that looks suspicious to me. Sort of like bad acting in a scripted reality show.

Think of all the female hypersensitivity these days, then equate how Cain is getting his name blown away on the news for a "bold se-xual advance". You can still achieve good close numbers without pushing the limits.

I sometimes like to read the RSD forum, they have a somewhat different spin on things. I never post there however. Like you say, I don't like the idea that you are involved in a product. Here there is no product (other than the site itself).

Also, like you say there is a lot of "fanboy" stuff going on over there, as far as worshipping the instructors. But I do think their content is as solid as anybody else's out there.

Catch a woman who's having a bad night and she's going to flip out on you. If this woman was just in a fight with her best friend or her bf, the outcome would have been much different.

I could see doing something like this if I'd already noticed that the woman is in a decent mood. However, it seems that Tyler didn't even bother to collect this information and just threw himself in front of a random woman.

He said he was practicing the three second rule. Don't think, don't find an excuse, just go.

If the woman flipped out on him I'm sure he would just say it was funny. According to Tyler, the attitude to have is everything is funny. If you get laid it's funny, if you get blown out it's funny. Self amuse.

I have no doubt Tyler could pull this sort of thing off, but I still wonder if the girl was a plant.

Seems legit to me. Of course, the wildcard in this type of thing is whether or not the woman is open to meeting a strange guy. If she had reacted negatively to his initial approach, he obviously wouldn't have "clawed" her in. She demonstrated compliance and probably gave at least a smile, which gave him the green light to escalate rather quickly.

Would this approach work most of the time? I seriously doubt it. It doesn't matter how good his body language was; most girls will not react well to being grabbed by a stranger. It's important to receive an approach invitation in the form of a smile or significant eye contact to avoid scaring the hell out of a girl.

RSD has contributed a lot of good ideas, though it tends to bog itself down in theory. I don't think that it's a good method for beginners that are already likely to lack social skills. You need to be able to come across as "normal" when the situation calls for it.
