The Birth of SPEER - My first pick up and f-close as a
PUA - "The Canadians"
After finding a wing on one of the boards I felt like I needed to look the part so I went to the mall to get a hair cut. I also bought a new
outfit, and began getting ready for the night. I had
no idea what I was in for.
I arrived to pick up Brady (aka Havok - who is now an
instructor here at Speer Method) since the bus was his
only transportation at the time. He made a deal with
me. The deal was I would be his transportation and he
would in trade teach me game. It sounded like a fair
deal to me since I would have picked him up
regardless. Brady was wearing a black button down
shirt, with a pair of baggy jeans. It didn't seem like
he was peacocked out at all. It seemed like he was a
conservative guy. He told me he had been doing this
for quite some time. Brady seemed really
knowledgeable. He told me about the community, the
other guru's and some of their theories.
It was an odd moment for me I explained to him. It
seemed pretty cool to go out with a guy specifically
to pick up women in a tactical format. All though this
whole game theory was all still new to me at that point. I
remember we were driving in the car, laughing about
how much fun we anticipated and the weirdness of it
all.
Brady explained to me it's like a video game where
there are two players fighting together to achieve the same
goal. It's much different then just going out with
your friends to see if you can pick up a girl. This
was tactical. I mean there were routines, gambits,
rules, and much more.
The excitement started to rush in and I knew this was
the beginning of something new and thrilling. I kept
thinking to myself that this was the beginning of a
new lifestyle. I was also thinking how in the hell am
I going to pull this off. This guy had much more
knowledge then me. I was a bit scared even though I
had many successes with girls in the past. This was
different and I felt it.
In the car we exchanged info, routines, and tactics.
Well the truth is Brady was doing much of the talking
and I was doing much of the listening. It was
interesting to me. The guy was much more educated in
the pick up arts then I was back then. He knew all
these different routines and gambits. He also
explained the benefit of DHV
(Demonstrating Higher Value) stories. DHV stories are
basically stories about your life, experiences where
you had social value, pre-selection (Pre-selected by
woman), Social alignments, Leader of men traits, and
other value demonstrating parts in a story that you can convey without
seeming like you are bragging. Also as we got
further into tactics he explained to me the benefits
of Negs, IOI's and other vital tactics.
Since he lived in Miami and it was a weekday he said
we should go to the grove. It is college night he
exclaimed and promised that there will be a lot of
attractive girls out on the prowl. "Lets go" I
replied.
Once reaching the grove we walked around for a bit.
Brady was an opening machine. He opened and virtually hooked
every hot girl that walked by. As we were walking he
explained to me about two very important rules – the 3
minute rule (This is where you must open a set within
3 minutes of arriving at any venue), and the 3 second
rule (Is once you see a target you have 3 seconds to
approach and open). These rules are there to help
overcome AA (Approach Anxiety) and raise your value
because you will gain social proof from lacking hesitation.
After showing me around to all the different venues at
the grove we ended up in this club called Flavor. The
club had two floors and on each floor a different genera
of music was vibrating through the room. It was very
poorly lit and the music was extremely loud. I had no idea how we were going to pull this off. The club
was also not very crowded which was just about the only plus. There were
only a few sets in the entire venue but you never need
more then one good set. So don't be discouraged if a
venue you go to is not packed.
As we walked into the club Brady spotted a two set at
the bar and immediately approached. At this point I
felt AA and decided I would go to the bathroom to
freshen up. We had been talking about identity, and
how these guru’s had shed their old Identity's.
I needed to solidify my Identity. I didn't really
have a name picked out or anything.
But there, staring at myself in the mirror I had It
come to me. The first initial of my first name ,
merged with my last name equaled Speer. I splashed water in
my face, and stared in the mirror. I was thinking to
myself "You are Speer! You can do this!" I had never
felt so scared of approaching women before. The
social pressure was building up because he was more
knowledgeable then me. Today I am considered one of
the best PUA’s on the planet but I started out just like
you. I was scared of rejection especially in front of
other people, never the less large groups of people in
a night club.
When I walked out of the bathroom Brady was locked in.
He was sitting in the middle of the two girls. He motioned
over to me to come and join them. I walked over pulled
up a bar stool and sat down. He introduced me to the
girls, and AIed me before I could even say a word. I
smiled and began talking to the Redhead which was the hottie. Afterall I didn’t know of wing rules. Today I know that if you open the set you get the hottie. That’s just how it works.
As the conversation progressed I threw out NEG's and
got into some of my own DHV stories. The cool thing is
I didn't realize it yet but I had unconsciously spent the last
5 years building my identity as an Actor and TV producer.
[Note: Since then, I have reverse-engineered the steps
I took to build an identity that automatically
attracts women, and further refined it using the
field-tested knowledge I learned from the best PUAs in
the world, to create a step-by-step system anyone can
use to build his own compelling and attractive

you'll know that it's not enough to know all the lines
and routines for picking up women. You have to build a
lifestyle that women want to be a part of -- and that

telling jokes which unconsciously was pumping up there
buying temperature. My target started Kinoing
(Touching) me and IOIing (Indicator of Interest) me. I
reached over and began stroking her hair. She seemed
to enjoy it.
After a short while Brady took his target and walked
around the venue with her. I was left alone with my target. I
felt like I needed to make a move. As I was stroking
her hair and telling her jokes since at this point I
didn't even know any routines I moved in and started
kissing her. She was extremely receptive and we began
making out passionately. The good thing that I did unconsciously was pump her buying temperature up before I went in for the kiss, but at the
time I just thought I was getting lucky. When Brady
and his target returned he saw me kissing my target
and he decided to escalate as well with his target. No ASD (Anti-Slut Defense) would come up since my target was already doing it.
Now both of us were making out with our targets. This
continued for a while and then we told the girls we
should walk around coconut grove since they had not
been anywhere else in the grove. We would give them the grand tour.
They instantly complied by closing out there tab and
walking out with us.
We walked around the entire grove. We took the girls
to 3 or 4 different clubs and bars. They were
thoroughly enjoying their night with us. It was to a
point where we felt like we needed to go somewhere
private in order to continue escalating or we would
have to Time Bridge. Since I had just sold my house
and Brady's studio did not have enough space for both of
us to have privacy. We decided to time bridge till
tomorrow. The girls seemed pretty bummed by our decision but
we did spend a good 3 hours building comfort with them.
The next day we called them and met up at the same
venue. Needless to say we both got laid and had a
fabulous time. Little did we know, that we had a lot
more fun times ahead of us. There is a lot more to this
story, I’ve left out some of the best stuff.. but you
will need to pick up my book to find out all the
the gory details, as for now, I must suit up because I just can't handle
being stuck at home.. So I guess I'll catch you guys
