Some people have a hard time figuring out what to use to get big. Some of us can't eat 2 cups of oatmeal, and 6 eggs, but most of us can get our calories in liquid form. Here is a drink I use, and for those of you who want to add, tweak or do what ever, do so. If its good, post it.

4 Tbsp Canola Oil
6 Tbsp Peanut Butter
4 Tbsp Corn Syrup
1/2C ice cream (calories will depend on flavor)
24oz of 2% milk.
2 scoops Optimum Anabolic Milk protein (use what you want)

2,380 calories 80g protein, 147g Fat, 144g Carbs.

For those who want more protein in that deal, I would use a high protein powder. The one I use is 34g per 2 scoops. Some you can get close to 50g. This whole deal will FILL a blender. I put mine in a half gallon milk jug, and it fills it half full. Looks like alot in a blender, but the trick is to add it to a bigger container. This in turn makes the mind go... Wow, that's nothing, and before you know it its all gone. If you want to double it, and get ALL your calories from liquid, repeat the steps. I only do this cause I try to eat whole foods as well. A FULL Dinner, and then a moderate lunch. Tuna, noodles, what ever.

We are concentrating on CALORIES over all, and more fat and carbs then protein. Seems odd yes, but GET THOSE CARBS.

Another thing I use is a combo of Insulin clearing items. Chromium, ALA, Vanadyl, and fish oil. This allows the body to store the goodies in the muscles.
you dont want all those calories at the same time, unless you want extra fat during your bulk. Thats way too many calories at one sitting and comeing from my 6th year of amateur bodybuilding, i know a thing or two. Also, the comment on no oatmeal; the stupidest thing ive ever read.

Ice Cream is arguably the worst food man can consume. It's full of saturated fat and SUGAR.

Sugar, or pure freakin' glucose leads to onset type II diabeties and insulin resistance. You oviously know jack $hit about this, WHY do you even bother with ALA?

If you can't handle eating clean (yes its possible for the hardest of gainers) and want to take the EASY way out, then go for it.

you can not have glucose on its own outside of your blood, it doesnt last freestate,
sugar is usually sucrose wich is glucose+glucose.

I agree, Vertical Nutrition is an idiot.

I'm a hardgainer and first of all I can tell you that 5k calories a day isn't even necessary. All this dumb drink will do for you is turn you into a lardass.

Like I said, I'm a hardgainer and I only consume 2400 calories a day. The idea is to provide your body with all the essential nutrients throughout the day. You eat every 3 hours and get protein in at each meal. The idea is also to gain MUSCLE with minimal fat. That's why you watch what you eat.

This works. You're a lardass if you actually get in 5k calories a day. The secret? http://www.musclegaintips.com & http://www.skinnyguy.net

The shakes that I make are 600 calories and contain 2 scoops of whey, 1 banana, milk and udo's. That is a better drink for you.

Actually man I got the BEST DIET FOR YOU HARD CORE BULKERS! IF you think his shake is something that isn't bad for you then WHY NOT pick up a copy of Supersize me and take the McDiet!!! I HEAR the guy gained something like 30 pounds in a month!

NOW THAT'S A BIG GAIN!!!

Btw corn syrup or ANY syrups are actually WORSE than normal sugar, it's refined into a syrup which is CONCENTRATED beyond belief. I can't imagine what kind of damage you'd be doing by taking soo much glucose intake.
