looking at old friend/FB/oneitis earlier today, she made me realize something that we don't talk about here often.

for a woman, there is a.. about a 2 to 3 year window. that she is still in her just about prime... generally from 23 to 25. depending on who you are and genetics it starts going downhill a little after that.

take avg hb8.7 chick. no bad habits, very hot, very datable, she literally, has the decision of a life time to make

just about every hb8.7 chick knows a guy or 10 that are probably settle down material type guys at the age of 23-25. that's exactly what this chick did... we started messing around before they dated and she used to talk about this goofy dude who hit on her all the time at work and how she couldn't stand him, 6 months after i left town "yeah we're dating" lol.

but think about this ****... for the right to have sole custody of the apex ***** for 2-3 years, you are basically agreeing to finance the ***** for the rest of your life. it's like a fvcked up car lease lol. dammit that's a balloon payment plan if i ever saw one

like, my old oneitis was very prudent.. she said okay, you are good looking, i will let you have this at it's absolute, prime, i'm not going to cheat on you, but you have finance this **** to the day i die baby lol. as of right now he is probably a better catch than she is. he's a very good looking dude no homo who if was single at 30 would have his pick of the litter, considering his family is loaded.

I mean i know that's a fvcked up way of looking at it but for a lot of couples it's true. the girl is about as boring as a cardboard box in the middle of the ocean, she doesn't know anything about anything, she has no hobbies, she does nothing but try to look cute. so it's not like they are going to have this freaking connection or this bond. I mean that' ssomething i honestly took into consideration wheni married my wife, that you know, i might not be able to get it like i get it now, but i actually enjoy my wife's company.. like if you marry a woman and the only reason you married her beucase she is hot and she would fvck you, son that balloon payment is going to be hell.

and you would think that every woman on earth would be dying to cash in on this sales event, but no. ahlf the women are too damn stupid for even the ***** balloon payment plan

I often write about having legitimate friendship with someone I date because we share common interests (that would exist even if we hadn't met) and can converse and banter because our personalities gel. Can't count the number of criticisms I've received for this.

BB good post but for a guy who is happy and married you think about your "old" oneitis WAY too often. :)

Well there must be "something" there because you still refer to her as your oneitis and you bring her up all the time.

I'm on great terms with many of my exes as well. Still communicate from time to time and would even go as far to say I love each and every one of them.

Even so they rarely cross my mind. That is why they are exes :).

Anyhow I'm not trying to give you a hard time it's just something I've noticed over and over in your posts. Just makin' sure you got your head on straight.

That's cause they're as deluded as Facebook shareholders. Thinking that their shyte is going to go up in value over time.

If it's one thing we humans do well, it's to completely fvck shtye up when it comes to forecasting future value.

A couple things: For one, it sounds like this guy isn't worried about money being a factor if he comes from a wealthy family. If he's got so much money, he's willing to trade a few years tapping some HQ poon for a reasonable price. If it's safe to assume he will ALWAYS have money, then exactly how long he wants to stay with this girl really depends on HIM. If one day he wakes up and realizes his increasing value in contrast to his girls decreasing value, what's to stop him from leaving? Are they married?

Second, You're happily married BB with a wife and child (1?). You're really underestimating the value of falling in love responsibly, as you say. What's to say these two people didn't fall in love responsibly and have a working relationship for them. Just because you may not have a connection with this woman doesn't mean this guy doesn't. Their relationship may not be the same as yours, but if it works for two people why not let it be. Are you making a balloon payment at the end of your marriage/mortgage (funny how those two words roll eerily similar off the tongue) too? Is every married man? Eventually the woman STOPS being good looking. Does that mean that everything you pay for after her looks decline is a waste?

I get the point of your thread though. Marrying solely for looks may pay dividends early on, but later in life it's a real burden, even financially. In the situation you describe though, they guy had been hitting on her for a very long time. I'm sure his feelings for her aren't only based on aesthetics.

simply becuase i want to keep her name anonymous. i can't say my GF she isny't. it's the only way i can refer to her w hile keeping her real name out of the post. beucase of what she does she's pretty visible and very easily googled. it's the most efficent way i can refer to a woman who i'm not dating or fvcking that i spent my first 4 years on this forum posting about. My oneitis > the girl who i i used to like and i don't like anymore who brought me here to this website

your reading way too much into the post. there was a time i could have had her and i chose not to. not into her like that.

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.

You can refinance as often as you like - for the bargain price of 'half of everything you own' each time.

Sage advice. I've seen too many guys marry HB8+s that had no other redeeming qualities other than their looks. Looks fade, but personality (or the lack thereof) endures. If you marry only for looks, you'll divorce for something else. And there is no amount of poon that is worth half your assets.

not here. in the real world.
I disagree that the prime of a woman is 23-25....wtf...man there's a lot of life after the 20's you know. I know most of us here are young, but consider age 55, living 2x as long as you have now. Easy to say a chicks in her prime at age 23, but maybe she's naive and doesn't have her **** together...I loves loves me a 30-32 year sexy woman myself...their mental place is so much better than a 23 year old...if we're talking about babies that might be another story.

As for things taken to the EXTREME, this forum is the ABSOLUTE WORST about that. Everything is bloated and magnified 10-fold, and we LOVE OUR GENERALISATIONS!
