Hey guys

So I am looking for tips on how to get a girl back after you have broken up. I have done the **** a different chick every week thing and it was fun but I actually wanted a relationship with this girl but she ended it. I think it rests on the fact that she told me she loved me but I never said it back. Anyways, for you pros out there, what is the best way to get your girl back?

I generally follow the rule of..

Once a relationship goes sour, you aren't getting it back.

Once a girl says "I love you." first.. you gotta respond accordingly.

Nexting is the only viable option here... imo.

Sorry for the bad english, I'm french.

My ex girlfriend broke with me last year, and we just got back together.

Last year, I was a recovering afc and I made some mistakes which resulted in a break up. Anyway, when she told me that she wants to break up with me, she offered me her frienship, I denied and I cut her from my life.

I didn't see her for like 10 months straight, and I recommand this for anyone who wants to get back with an ex, otherwise, it just won't happen.

Anyway we had some common friends so lately, I saw her at some mutual parties, after 10 months of not seeing her, talking to her, etc. I've been in others relationship and stuffs, I can say that I'm more of a DJ then last year and she saw the change.

Basically, what you have to do, is to flirt with her again, showing her your DJ's skills, simple as that. But I recommend that you wait a certain period of time before that. I don't think that she's ready to take you back right now. Wait a little bit and show her the new you.

I'm really curious about the I love you thing.

My gf txt'ed me when she was drunk and a little stoned saying "I love you". I responded "you're drunk, hunny :)" because I'd like to hear it from her face to face. And if she does say it to my face I'd reciprocate.

The best way of getting a girl back is to get on with your life, work on improving yourself, and have patience. Lot's of people get back together again even after many years. A girl broke up with me in highschool (which at the time seemed devastating), I went on to college, developed a career, was doing well (and had just broken up with my gf at the time) when she dropped hints that I should contact her! I wasn't interested, but it shows if there was something genuine between the two of you, they never forget.

I love you stuff......

My ex said she loved me a few times and I didn't respond with the same. Then she asked me one day in desperation,"DO YOU LOVE ME??!" And I said , "sure I love you". Then when she broke up w/ me she sighted a reason as - I HAD TO ASK YOU IF YOU LOVED ME!! I don't know................

I think this is good advice. I also think that the longer your relationship was before you broke up then the longer you should wait.

If i knew the stuff i know now, my ex would have crawled back to mee. Its like, after 2 days of me not saying anything, she was calling back and asking how i was, etc.. But i still charged back on her. If i had just taken her out of my life for a time, it would be so easy..

On the other hand, im so glad i didnt get back with her, im so much better without her, and there are so much better girls ^_^

Odd that you should say that. I had a girl I was starting to get serious with stop putting out all of the sudden, after us sexing every day for 2ish months straight. She said she had to "improve herself", and that I should to. Now we don't talk, and I've found another coochie. However, it still was funny that you used those words...

I'm with the "when a relationship goes south, it's over" crowd. There's simply too many people out there for you to lust after one person when you already have had a history. If things DO happen after the fact, then sure, get her back if you want. Just don't obsess over it.

Interesting comment Diablo. Being with someone for two months isn't that long , so I'm not sure it applies to my statement. It also sounds like you were focused on one activity, and a shallow relationship never endures. What I said is good advice really, from someone twice your age who has seen the longer cycles in relationships. People only have a limited time to develop LTR's, and when two people have a good connection, they tend to get together again. My statement basically says that you get on with your life, do well, and if it was meant to be, it will be. It sounds like the relationship you were talking about wasn't that strong.

I'd agree on all points. I'm still meandering in the stage of "instant gratification", relationship-wise. When I'm older (and with any luck, wiser) I'm sure that things will change - but for the moment, settling down is on the distant horizon. Good advice.
