Slowly I'm starting to realize the advantage of saying nothing in all aspects of life - socially I mean. By saying nothing, you develop a sense of aura around you - the mystery that most woman talk about or love.

At the same time in conversational settings, by saying nothing, you make the other person talk. That in itself keeps your cards safe while exposing said persons - in most cases the girl. She carries the conversation while you learn more and by adding in a few words here or there you're sorted. Escalation is not done with words but actions. Combine the two and you're sorted. Talk too much and eventually blabber your way out of situations that may have guaranteed you the HB for the night.

Saying nothing is the most advantageous though in times of conflict particularly with woman. I have found in doing so, you don't leave yourself exposed to future problems - lies you may have made up, reasons for her to hate you etc. When a girl eventually confronts you though, any little white lie you then make up - and it has to be some little brief simple one - will do the trick because she really wants to believe it and will drop every idea that was running in her head beforehand (and that is where it all lies - woman live in their minds: hence silence leaves them to imagine). Furthermore rumors cannot be spread about you if you say nothing.

So I hope this may help some who think they have to be ****y and funny and the centre of attention. Silence is a powerful tool. Use it. I'm not the silent type but it is who I strive to be because I don't like being ****y and funny even if it is in my nature. As such people notice. Heck, girls WILL wonder as I have gathered - particularly those you have next'd, dropped or the prior oneitis. Silence to me, is the tool to my improvement and ascension from being a beta *****.

Now, i do not know what arrangement you have with that girl, but that sounds like you are cheating on her or ripping her off in some way by lying. You are taking advantage of her. Just to build on what I've read (avoiding the whole lying discussion!), I think there is a difference between 'shy silence' and 'strong silence'. The first is what you want to avoid. It's the one where you're so damn scared to talk to woman and stuff things up or are nervous as f***. The second is what you're aiming for. Even without the looks, a friendly smile and dressing good and getting fit will get you miles. Once you get past that initial stepping stone and have built even that tiniest bit of repore, you turn things on the girl. Make her open up, carry the conversation with topics she is going on about. All the while adding in kino when appropriate. When she asks you questions, you keep it brief and return the topic of conversation to her. That's silence at work. If you got nothing to say, then don't. Girls hate silence and sooner or later will start a topic to talk about. By not talking, she is going to build HER own picture of you in her head and it will be a good one as it will be one where she just doesn't get you and builds her curiousity to delve deeper. Don't be the guy that blabbers and blabbers about himself.

Lies (as always) are for convenience. Its easier to say "I'm stopping by my mother's house" as I make my exit than to say: "I'm going to hang out with Ashley now".

instantnoodles is a perfect example of how women relentlessly try to control men. I've told this chick on several occasions exactly how I think and what I believe.. YET she still insists on trying to sway my thinking to match HER values. She just won't give up.
