Alright, I need a clear view on this. I always find little rants that or for or against texting in different threads, but I thought this would be great way to condense texting debates.

What do you guys think about texting?

Does it hurt or help your Game?

Is it completely useless?

or Does it help Game tremendously?

I have a mixed view on this. Sometimes it seems I can make great headway and sometimes I think i text too much, that I don't leave a bit of mystery.

Should I stop texting completely, or just only text when I'm txted?

It may vary based on your situation but:

I am in High School, and most girls in my school are not comfortable immediately jumping on the phone with you without first having some text conversation.

Generally, I use texting to lead into phone calls. Remember to avoid texting too much.

i have unlimited texts but only 300 minutes with no free nights but free weekends since i dont talk a lot on the phone but texting is easier because she can respond to you whenever (if she chooses to) but with a phone call if she doesn't pick up, then you're wondering "should i call again?". I text more but i would rather have a phone conversation sometimes

I find calling instead of texting the best method.
With a call u get a more definitive answer or whatever out of her PLUS she gets the impression you're a confident mofo. Cos texting near the start i think projects an image of weakness so id recommend phoning!

With a call u can also tell from her voice if shes happy to hear from you!

Id say texting at the start does hurt your game... later on its fine, once u know shes into you etc. PHONE! ALWAYS PHONE! haha

I also would recommend phoning even if u think that the girl is into texting or texting is the USUAL thing to do. Why? cos u gotta show her u aint run of the mill!!! and u have NUTS!

Waste of time in most cases. It takes more time to have a conversation when your text messaging than it takes when you actually talk on the phone. It wouldn't be a waste of time when your doing something else or when you'd like to text many girls at the same time to hang out.

It's so much easier to text girls than to actually call them up. It shows her you have balls and you can make a totally different impression on her. Girls have told me a few times they were surprised I called them.

And what really annoys me is when girls take long to text or don't text back. Just call her and clear things up. If she ignores your calls, you know she's not interested and that's it. It's harder to tell if she's not interested by text messages.

Lately, I've been finding texting more and more annoying. People are always on their phones and it's a bad habit. You have the habit of putting your head down and it hurts my eyes after a while. Texting is just another addiction like facebook.

Does it hurt or help your Game?

It helps my game. When I don't have plans on the weekend, I text a couple girls I'm interested in at the same time and see what their doing and I just hear about parties or hang out with them alone.

I usually text when I'm bored somewhere (like in unimportant classes) or when I just met the girl. I text her to warm things up so she knows my number and she knows who I am when I call. It makes things easier that way, I find.

Is it completely useless?

Not entirely useless, but your game shouldn't depend on it.

or Does it help Game tremendously?

Can you help you big time if your smooth with text messages. I can be really smooth and it gives you a bit of time to think of your replies which is a big advantage than calling because your put on the spot.
