I wouldn't be texting her at all. And if I did, I sure wouldn't be initiating them, and I sure wouldn't be calling her "gorgeous" and feeding her compliments with them. So, if that's your "technique", then hear out my reasoning. It's only based on years of experience:
Communication is a woman's game. You're setting a precedent by getting into texting with her. One of these days, that can bite you in the ass. How? Lots of ways. Too many to get into in this post.
Secondly, and more importantly, texting her sends her the message that you're not that busy or involved with anything else. IOW, it sends the message that she's got some priority over you. Kitty's got the mouse in her claw. You know it's better if Kitty wonders where the mouse is, and wondering if the mouse likes Kitty or not. In your case, she knows exactly where she stands with you. You'll even initiate the communication, instead of having her pursue you. She didn't bother to text you, and she doesn't have to if you do the work for her. It really, really sounds to me that she's so one up on you.
Consider this: You think she's asking anyone what she ought to text you back? It's her game. Look at how she just knows instinctively what to say:
She tells you that she's going to be busy meeting with clients, and that IF she weren't working, she'd be heading to the BEACH - nothing about wanting to be with YOU if she wasn't working, did you notice? - and then she wraps it up with that dangling carrot of a flirty tease. And no compliments back to you.
So she communicates indifference, being busy and then leaving you wanting more with a sexual tease. Think about how her text made you feel. That's how good you have to get at it right back too if you're gonna get involved with this communications game of hers, rather then thinking in terms of springboarding off of what she texted you with a C+F line. Get it? That's what you're up against with this one.
