I took one recently and just got the results.

17.7 nmol/L which is 510 ng/dl.

The doc says it's normal (mid range) but when I surf the web it seems below the mean.

I'm 31.

Should I be concerned? I'm in good shape and lift weights 4 times a week for 10 years now. I never felt I had high testosterone but I'm concerned if it's below the mean.

What's your fat intake like?

Eat more saturated fat, (no they don't cause heart attacks). Fats are essential hormone production and well being. Also, getting more sleep will help.

Are there any signs of a dipping test level you have noticed recently? Lower sex drive etc?

If your consistently lifting, but not eating enough calories overall, the first thing your body does is shut down the production of sex hormones because they aren't considered essential for your survival.

PIMP
10.5% bodyfat.

6.5 hours sleep/night

Compared to my friends that want to f*** everything that moves, I've always had low drive.

Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.

I suggest you to increase your sleep hours to 8.

Also keep in mind that its not total testosterone the one that matters but the free one which is in fact free to interact with androgen receptors and do his part.

A man with total testosterone 1000 and only 50 free doesnt know what women are for while a man with total testosterone of 800 of which 300 free is a muscle building fat burning fvcking machine.

Free testosterone is the amount of testosterone which doesnt get inhibited from shbc protein and is therefore free to tie to androgen receptors.

Also dont take sex drive only as benchmark since its influenced from many different hormones, for example cortisol (a hormone connected to stress levels) as much as prolactin (which goes sky high if you wank too much for example).
Then no wonder you have no sex drive if your work doesnt let you sleep or you wanked that same morning.

Prolactin provides the body with sexual gratification after sexual acts: The hormone counteracts the effect of dopamine, which is responsible for sexual arousal. This is thought to cause the sexual refractory period. The amount of prolactin can be an indicator for the amount of sexual satisfaction and relaxation. Unusually high amounts are suspected to be responsible for impotence and loss of libido (see hyperprolactinemia symptoms).
