Hey guys,

I'm 22 and I was curious in regards to the use of test boosters.
I've been looking at;

APS Testatropin

and

BPI Arimedex HD

I believe both are test boosters and they're from well known companies.
What i wanted to know was if it'd be a good idea to take them at 22 and if test boosters could lead to gynecomastia.

Are there really any negative side effects to these supps?
I've posted my diet here before, it's relatively clean and I lift heavy 4x a week.

Cheers!

Very small chance your getting gyno from a testbooster. You could try some out and see how they do. At best you'll get some extra reps and boners.

In terms of the big picture this is a 5% category for you as far as results. Diet should be the majority of your focus. What does your diet look like now after making the changes fugly suggested?

Hey Effort, thanks for the reply.

Regarding my diet it's pretty much the same, I've just added an extra meal in there with meat, vege's and carbs.

nothing scientific it's about a handful of brown rice, as much or little vege's as i want and meat about the size of my hand.
eg. kangaroo/chicken/lamb/beef etc. anything really.

Basically just keeping everything clean. Sitting at 76kg after a small break/vacation and I'm going to slowly work up to 80kg.

If test boosters are just going to give me extra reps and more boners, i might just skip them then. I've got my mesomorph pre-workout drink to take care of that, haha.

Your welcome search1ng. In terms of the diet it seems pretty good, getting more whole food in is always a good thing. You'll just have to monitor your progress and adjusts things as needed.

I think I might of came off like I was being negative towards test boosters. They can definitely help if there used as part of an overall training cycle. I usually train people in 12 week cycles be it a bulk, cut, recomp and will sometimes incorporate them into the plan. Its very purposeful. A lot people waste money on supps like this without really knowing how it fits in to there plan and wouldn't be able to honestly tell if it worked even if it did.

My advice is to start with the basics. Plan your training cycle out. I like 12week cycles made of a build up, blast and deload . Know what your trying to accomplish in the time frame. Understand your routine and the progression of it. Then build a diet that supports your training cycle. Then once the basics are in place you can then add in supplementation and have it be relevant to the plan. It can be a lot more detailed than that but that's the general idea.
