This has been weighing on my shoulders for a bit. I guess this is more of a rant than anything.

I use to have near perfect teeth. This past November I noticed my front two bottom ones start to shift a little bit. So now they're slightly crooked/shifted just a bit. In hind sight... I should've just went to a dentist right then and there. For some reason now it's weighing on me now more than back then. I'm thinking it might be an issue with my gums. So I'm going to have to get that looked at first and then probably look into Invisalign to get the two teeth back straight like they were. Like I said, it's only two teeth but it's the two front bottom teeth unfortunately.

I'm currently in a spot (now) where money is tighter than usual. I can't drop $5k for Invisalign plus whatever else I'm going to have to pay for. I still have to do income tax (I do side transcription on the side and I actually made a decent sum last year) so I'm going to owe quite a bit. By mid-May I'm calculating - I'll have enough spare cash for the dental costs (don't want to use credit/rather just pay it all at once).

This teeth problem hasn't prevented me in going out on dates, but it has certainly played a part on my self confidence if I'm telling the truth. I never had to worry about my teeth at all until recently so this is all new to me. I haven't had much success on dates the last couple months. The quality of women also hasn't been great, but my brain is saying my front two teeth are to blame. I know how stupid this might sound. I know teeth are a big deal as well.

Should I put off dating until June until I have this teeth situation more under control or is this just my lowered self esteem talking? Like I said - I've still gone out on dates, but I know I haven't been 100% my self because of this.

I'm comfortable with the majority of the rest of my body (hair, weight, height, etc). It's just my teeth right now.

I know it’s silly on the outside looking in, but I don’t know. It’s still my biggest obstacle in my mind in doing better on dates. I’m happy with the rest of my life. Just not my teeth.

I went in and got them checked out at a periodonist the first week of this month (because I figured it was a gum problem causing the two bottom teeth to shift). Long story short the dentist schedules me for a deep cleaning and scaling, but the first avaible appointment wasn’t until May 9.

I wanted to get this treatment underway so I could at least get invisalign to straighten the two bottom teeth in question, but I’ve been waiting until May 9th just to get this initial deep cleaning out of the way. I rather not pay another appointment and consultation with another perio when I already went through it all with this one. I just hate my teeth right now.

It’s causing me to not even game this one plate that has caught my eye this past week.

I know this sounds beyond embarrasing on the outside probably. I just feel she would reject me for my teeth. I’m trying to get them fixed. So I’ll feel better about them. /rant

I have a slightly crooked upper front tooth and 2 misaligned teeth on the bottom. It is obviously visible, I have had it for years and I don't even think about it. It hasn't stopped me in any way I'm aware of. I don't think women notice or care if your personality is beaming with confidence, which it is not if you're insecure about small sh!t like that.

I'm not saying you shouldn't get it aligned, if that's what you want then do that. In the meantime though it's not your teeth that causes less success, it's the fact that you let it affect your confidence. If it's your lower teeth then it's even less obvious than my teeth which as I said do not affect my success because I don't give a fvck.

Strong game is not built on things going your way, it's succeeding in spite of superficial factors.

Some women are turned off by visibly missing teeth. You don’t have a problem anywhere close to being that severe. She won’t notice or even care and neither should you.
Focus on things you can Work on right now like confidence and attitude.

Well not gonna lie, women care about teeth unless they have no options
Depends how bad the teeth are (in OP's case it's near unnoticeable). My teeth are probably a bit more noticeable, but I guess they never get the chance to notice and/or care before my energy level overrides such petty details.
