So this girl I have been working for about a month now has been openly flirtatious the entire time. And I mean really flirtatious, gives me pet names, calls me a lot, kisses me on the cheek and head and **** like that, always wants to do stuff with me gets mad when i don't....so on and so forth. I realized about two weeks ago, with the help of some friends, that she wants me. We dance around in a game of cat and mouse (cause that seems to be how every single encounter with a girl is, atleast for me) finally today I got tired of all the BS.

Now I ask when you read this next part to put what you would have done?

I sent her a text saying: When you flirt with me is it friendly or is there something more?

Her: What do you mean? (ok not a good start)

Me: I mean exactly what I said. Is ti playful or is there more? Im bad at the whole subtly thing.

Her: It's friendly because I love you q.t.! (Well FvCK)

(Here I just accepted and didn't return her text, I was like ok I got my answer sucks but whatever)

Half hour later:
Her: Did you want it just friendly? (WHAT DOES THIS MEAN DAMN IT)

My friend decided it would be cute to answer for me here and said: Well no but its no big deal (I didn't bother to fix it cause I figured whatever at this point)

No she wants to go get dinner tomorrow... thoughts on what I did wrong, should do, what you would have done, signals I missed, something? Or am I just way out of line?

Your first text message came across as insecure, AFC. Luckly, the girl had enough interest in you. Basically what you did was AFC ish but you still have a chance, well SHE still has a chance with you, remember YOU are the PRIZE. In the text message where she calls you q.t. she was trying to send mixed signals. Looks like she knows how to DJ better than you...hehe.........mostt girls do. So what you should do is to keep treating her like you did when you didn't know she liked you. Hopefully you weren't so insecure before you knew.

On a side note.....if you figured out that she liked you why would you ASK her if she did?! Here a piece of advice.....NEVER ASK a girl if she likes you. It's AFC.

IT'S OBVIOUS SHE LIKES YOU.! I have never seen anyone flirt in A FRIENDLY WAY (wtf is this)!!

Listen, if shes doing all this stuff to you, um.............SHE LIKES YOU ......duh!

It took her half an hour to answer you because she didnt want to give up her power or she was shy about saying it (she's not sure if you like her).

She then said its a friendly flirt, NO ITS NOT. SHE EVEN SAID, SHE LOVES YOU Q. T.
To me its pretty obvious.
 Its funny how you cant see this!

When she asks you if you want it in a friendly way, she wants to know if you like her. Like she obviously really like syou, and wants to see if she can easily get you. Well now do whatever you want.

Arg, I have.. Touching all the time, resting head on shoulder, flirting, constantly hanging around, couple of dates, right on its a sure thing I'll make a move right? Wrong. Kiss on the cheek, 'I don't think of you in that way I'm just naturally flirty.' Pfft, fuck off then and stop wasting my time. (I didn't actually say that.. lol)

Could mean nothing, could mean she likes you. One way to find out, go out with her and kiss her.

Yeah if a chick just likes to flirt for the sake of flirting, she is a sunshine girl, or an attention *****.

If you put the moves on her, and she says, I don't htink of you that way, then ask her,

"Why are you showing all this attraction, and flirty behavior?"
Well not those words, but that's what I would say.

Then she either denies, or says that's just how she is like.

Now you can handle it however you want. You could call her a liar if she denies, or you could get mad at her for her whorish ways of acting, or you could just say whatever, and move on.

Of course more then likely, if you go do something, she will be wiling and wanting to hook up.

I hang out with a lot of "studs" I guess. I am always sorting out their bull**** with girls so...naturally they jumped on the chance to sort mine out (not in a kind way of course), one of them said that I should just tell her (which i guess is what I did...though I didn't mean to). His logic being that if you tell her and get turned down it sucks... but if you tell her and she feels the same way well... but if I don't tell her then I already know the answer. It makes sense, but it is AFC.

QUESTION So what do I do then? QUESTION

And more importantly!!!! What would you guys have done? I came across as AFC, how could I have changed what I said to not have come across as AFC.

{Edit: O, and HOW the FVCK DO I FIX IT!!!! Can I? I hate to give up (more of a matter of pride at this point I guess), but I will}

The reason flirting is so much fun is because it's subtle and beneath the surface. It allows people to express themselves without being embarrassed by having to openly say "I like you."

You pretty much completely fvcked that by bringing it out into the open.

that's sh!tty advice and you know it. If it's AFC, regardless of whether it makes sense to guys, it isn't worth spending time with. The Game is very, very subtle and bringing sh!t out into the open rarely advances you with a girl unless you already have her.

I never once told my girlfriend of four months that I liked her until the day she left for college. No pain in the relationship, no trouble with her cheating, and I had all of the power.

Go ahead and ask this girl out, but in the future don't say crap like that. You can't expect a girl to honestly tell you if she likes you just because you ask.

How did she get the GF status if you never told her you liked her. I too NEVER told my "gf" that I liked her. She just assummed that I was her bf. She even told me I was. I just always told her that I liked her as a friend. A "best friend".

I showed her I liked her. After a couple of weeks she asked me out on a date. After a month she asked me to prom and then began asking me to let her be my girlfriend.

That's so weird because that is EXACTLY what happened to me!
