Don't think there is a thread on this? Didn't know where to put it. But seen as it's with your body. Seemd like the right place.

Anyway. I'm seeing loads of guys with tattoos now. Not just single-whole tattoos. But,

Sleeves, neck, chest and face tattoos. When I say face tattoos, I mean on the chin, underneath the eye/ above the eyebrow etc.

Sometimes they look really good and defined. Other times, it lookes like a circus. I am a pro-tattoo enthusiast. So I say this goes in any aspect.

However, what do most chicks think about this? Alot say they ''LOVE'' & ''LUST'' guys who have NECK TATTOOS. Just another addition to the badboy suave huh ..?

I'm quite into the whole Prison-tattoo/ Brazilian gangster look, abit like Ricardo Arona from UFC.

And how many bro's on here actually have a decent amount of Tattoos? Be honest . . .

I think they are great for automatically giving one the bad boy vibe that women love as well its a peacocking thing in a way which helps as an attention grabber.

Personally I think they look ugly so I will never fvck up my skin with them but all that said I don't knock guys who get em to improve their success rate.

Whatever works is my motto.

Unless you really are a badboy, a gangster, or one of those guys who is just hardcore into bodymod like the modern primitives people, I think anyone else is just being a poseur.

If you're getting it based on what OTHER PEOPLE will think of you, then realize what you are doing. I think 90% of people who get tats are doing it to impress OTHERS. Ask yourself this, if you woke up tomorrow and you were the only person left on earth, would you still want that tattoo? If not, then your reason is to impress others. And that's the wrong reason. If you really want the tattoo because it satisfies YOU and not others, then go ahead I guess.

I'm not a big tattoo fan myself. Not because I think they're ugly, but because I don't want anything permanently etched on my body.

I like a few nicely done tatts on a guy. The following comments are my personal oppinion on the matter.

Sleeves : Bikers, tough, beer drinking, blue collar guys. Nothing wrong with them at all!

Neck/Face : Criminal/thug/gang banger, very few redeming qualities, should be avoided unless I'm looking to buy drugs.

Hands: Just looks silly!:nono:

Rest of body: It's all good!

Tatts on Women!
Unless they are nicely done it looks cheap and tacky. I love Kat Von D's tatts, not impressed at all with Angelina Joli's.

Since I got mine I feel more special. I mean, 'regular' people are just regular with regular jobs and regular lives. I'm a musician and an artist (not PU artist yet) ans since I got my upper arm / shoulder tattoo my confidence grew and the ladies like that... I feel more attached to my artist guitarist identity.
I also dress less ordinary now, so this helps too...
Can't wait for my next one.

I have 14 and I'm just getting warmed up.

Each tattoo bears either a significant turning point in my life or is a reminder of a goal I still need to accomplish.

The Karmic Kross on my chest is a symbol, of my own creation and one I had in a vivid visualization while meditating, encompassing various Magickal/Hermetic/Metaphysical pathways which I use to open various circuits.

It holds a helluva lot more for me than any lame banality meant solely to impress people.

My brother just finished the sleeve on his left arm. It is a remarkable piece of artwork.

KarmaSutra: Wow your pretty inked up dude, I have 2 less than you. But when you say 14, do you mean 14 single tattoos?, because alot of mine (especially on my arms&chest) are incorporated into other tattoos so it looks like there are 20+, I'm not really into the whole spiritual-side of ink, but nonetheless they always look interesting & different.

Speakeasy: I understand where you're coming from and I wish more people thought like you did. Seeing too many people with unimaginitive tatt's for the sole purprose of following and having a ''tatt''. I mean, 5 pointed star!!? c'mon, everybody has that, whats that 'sposed to represent? you're a star? But if I was the last guy on earth, I would definetly still want my ink (My family, origin, culture, lifestyle, business, accomplishments, interests and where I need to be, where I am and soley me is on me). I have spiderman over skyscrapers on my arm in fine-line and heavy-line black&grey and looks asif he's jumping from building to building, some might think ''why do you have spider man ..lol " but it signifies one of my interests&hobbies which is backpacking and travelling from city to city etc, plus I'm a heavy cartoonist fan.

But everybody has a story, why not get it written/ illustrated on you?

WaterTiger: I think having sleeves/chest and the rest of your body inked w/out the neck tattoos looks abit wrong. Wearing a t-shirt, then you have sleeves, but no neck tatts?, to me, looks like you haven't got the whole package. Neck tattoos doesn't always bring that side of thug/criminal/gangster. I think they scream ''flamboyant'' rather petty ''thug'' -but depends on whose the bearer.
