I'm wondering what happens if you don't put those goggle-things they have at the salon? I just find them annoying and they don't fit right on my eyes so I end up with white areas. Would it be all right to not put them on once in a while, just so my eyes don't stay white?

Well if you want to get across the curb with the aide of a dog and like carrying around tin cups with pencils in them, sure, toss them to the side.

Eyelids are too thin to absorb UV rays so your eyes will take in the remainder.

Yeah I've been going into the ****er without the eye things for about three weeks now, I must say they are very important, cuz they make them for a reason, but like out of 3 times, go in once with your eye lids closed so your eye lids can catch up tan-wise to the rest of your body

well, you DID ask :) anyway its a bit of an exaggeration but they are necessary

Protective goggles should always be worn when indoor tanning. Eyelid skin is too thin to protect the eyes from UVA rays. Severe burning of the lids and internal eye damage may result when goggles are not used.

You WILL get cataracts if you don't wear some sort of protection.

Wear them if only for 75% of the time.

I went up to the hot broad that works at my tanning place and said "Do you want to come out to a party in a week or so?" She said "Sure". So I said "I don't know the exact address of the place, but why don't I give you a call and tell you where it is when I find out..."

So, then she gave me her number.

Then, I called her up a week later and asked her out for a drink(instead of the party thing). She said "Sure". So, I told her that I would call her back later on that night after she got off work, to set up plans for something that night.

...Then, when I called her, she "mysteriously" wasn't home...

This concludes the story of me getting stood up. :)
