Taking date to central park zoo good idea?

Would a first date at a zoo be a good choice? thinking about asking this girl im interested and i think it will be good to walk around, see the animals and get to talk..let me know if anyone has experience with that kind of date. I am trying to be unique.

I always thought ACTION dates were best Parasailing, scuba diving, Dirtbike riding, rock climb, PaintBalling, lazer tag, etc Let her see you being ACTIVE walking in a zoo is for older couples and families on a day out with the kids.
Took one date on a Ghost hunt at an old decomissioned hospital with some friends one night. Not knocking the zoo but make it something interesting. Preferably a situation where you'd both have to shower after the date

Zoo smells like ass, not very romantic imho. First dates i go for ice cream or coffee.
