Everytime I come to this site I expect there to be some good commentary about social dynamics. However, I find myself disappointed more and more as I see all the threads that are begging for approval.

The more and more I think about it the more sickened I get by the seduction community. Look at the so-called "GURUS" they are emotially wrecked and engage in petty back stabbing tactics.

See "The Game" by Neil Strauss aka "Style" documented in those pages are the chronicles of the so-called "Gurus" Mystery for instance is an emotional wreck and engages in behavior more suited for teenage girls. Same with Tyler Durden, Papa, etc.

Do you really aspire to be those guys?

I sure don't.

So look in the mirror and realize that you have the power to get any women you want and it doesn't take lame "opinion openers" or phony canned robot like material.

SS and all the "GURU" stuff is nothing more than a program on how to be comfortable in your own skin. Not a bad thing, it's just not true womanizing. The way I see it they're just good social psychologists for the most part. It's basic and it's what a lot of these guys need to get started.

But I think it's painfully obvious that once you have you're sh-t together that these sources are not where you go to continue improving your game. At that point the only reason to be here is to try to be a little helpful. Sure, some guys try too hard. Some guys try before they really get to that point. But whatever. Take it all with a grain of salt.

with any sub-culture in life, there will be disputes and
grude matches-at their level of success it kind of a given.
One could look at rappers and say that they are no good thugs
more so then they are artists. And no one is perfect by any means-
sure they are top PUAs but it dosen't mean that
they are above childish behaviors when having to deal with
dramatic situations.
Sure we would like to idealize and think
that they are above such antics and should know better-

Well, here's my take.

I view this as a part of my life that I must have handled, and I am willing to put the effort to keep this part of my life handled and get better at it. Just like I get up in the morning and run/lift weights. Another part of my life that I want to get/keep handled. And I'm doing well in both areas. I have a hot girlfriend who loves me and I am in very good shape. There is definitely room for improvement for me, but I have no aspirations to be a superstar at either area. I just want to get better, and I am willing to put a moderate amount of effort.

I don't think that it is healthy to make `The Game' your life, because then ultimately you're focusing an enourmous amount of energy trying to get a certain response from other people. Isn't that just coming full circle to what the frustrated chodes are doing?

As I examine these "gurus" I see men who lack balance. These are guys who for the most part had almost zero success w/ women in their youth. Thus they over-compensate and end up getting manically depressed when they find out picking up chicks isn't the answer.

Now coming back after a hiatus I see the same old BS. Thinking that you can simply solve your problems by picking up girls. Hey, listen I'm not pefect either. I got caught up in this whole nonsense. Then I realized that going to clubs and taking home drunk floozie after drunk floozie wasn't the way I wanted to spend my early 20's.

As far as being a "hater" - You are entitled to your opinon and I respect what people have to say. But to know me, to really know me you will come to realize that I don't have a jealous bone in my body. I want all my brothers to succeed.

Read Pooks posts. I know he doesn't have the following of the more famous gurus but he really has it figured out.

If you can't get a chick to talk to you why would you use some line that everyone else is using...It's like the pickup lines everyone makes fun of. Sure some guys can pull it off but most of us are better off just being confident enough to approach or close or whatever. Plus if you use a canned routine and it's not real or has no bearing on your reality than why use it you're just lying. If it gets you laid, ok it worked for a second, but what if you want to keep the girl around for a while?

I agree with most of the points except one. I don;t like the advice to `be yourself'. To go from an AFC to someone who is good with women (or for that matter, to make any change in your life) you have to try behaviors that just don't feel natural at first--`fake it til you make it'. Just as someone trying to get in shape after a life of inactivity has to force himself up off the couch, even though every fiber in his body would rather be napping.

I see these guys, the "GURUS" as male AW's, and for good reason, it brings in cash. They put on shows for people, and they don't want to rub anybody the wrong way, they are being pushed around by society. They have the skills and the knowledge, and the experience. Thus they come up with plans, and games, and ideas, that we mere mortals would never come up with. These guys are GODS in my opinion, and every GOD must suffer if they are to attain any status apart from their present accruements.

People that mention their names, are simply fuelling the fire. When they get at eachothers throats, but can still pat eachothers backs, I don't see that as any fault, I see that as a strength, they can fight in front of oithers, but still remain great friends, is a nod in the right direction. So this thread, started by somebody who in my opinion is a DJ, is simply jealous.

I find it disgusting how people can talk behind eachothers backs, with words of hate and dissaproval, without actually inviting the other person into the argument in any way.
