I have come to the conclusion, that PC games (although not as user friendly or agile as PS2 or XBOX) have the best sounds and graphics. Anyone care to agree or disagree?

Check out gamespot, most of the PC games have an 8.0 rating or higher.

The only downside to PC games I see, is a smaller screem (PC screen) and space it takes up on a computer.

Call of Duty for the PC is unbelievable as well as games such as Civilization.

An XBOX is just a dedicated game playing PC. Take a look at its specs.

Pc's are more up to date and can run more advanced programs than can xbox and playstation. Most PC games could be played on an xbox due to the minimal system requirements companies use to ensure good product sales.

PC games don't have as good of controllers though and to me that's the most important part.

PS2 hardware models suck

I have had two times when my systems have broke down on me. If the system breaks one more time thats it and I won't buy it anymore.

X-Box has no real good games including Halo series (IMO they are just another FPS with 16 player support and vehicles. Oooo wow:rolleyes: )

Gamecube has a solid system and a well made up first party games but third party developers are scarce. Although they do have capcoms survival horror series for awhile anyway.

I don't know much about PC games

I'm more old school though in the fact that I think that Super NES kicks all those game systems ass in gameplay. Although visually they couldn't hold a straw to the new 3-D competitors they got what other games don't. Fun factor

Old school represent:cool: Capi Crimini would back me up here too;)

Consoles are technology frozen in time. I wouldn't trade upgradability and flexibility of PCs for anything.

Consoles werent designed to be cutting edge technology. They were made for multiple people with lower costs in mind. Some people dont want to have to spend 2000 dollars on a high end computer to play games. I grew up playing nintendo and atari, so I have much love for all consoles.

Personally, I have all consoles and a good gaming computer. I don't like to argue over which one is better because its pointless. They all have their pro's and con's, just get the one that fits you best.

You can make some console controllers work on PC's. Atleast, I know the xbox ones do. Just have to do some easy wiring.

You can easily buy a contoller that is similair to a PS2 or XBox controler for your PC. I have PS2 like controller hooked up to my comp right now (I never use it though). I play almost all PC games even though I do have a PS2. My parents wouldn't let me get a console till a couple years after dreamcast came out and before then I'd already been playing computer games like Tie Fighter and Xwing etc. It's just what I'm used to.

I have heard though however that console games sell 10X better then PC games. That isn't hard to believe though because PC games are prone to a lot of bugs because of all the system configurations out there.

PCs are great...if you have a few hundred dollars to upgrade your system every month...and a lot of free time to deal with bugs, installations, and optimization...and the only types of games you like are shooters, RPGs, and strategy...

Consoles are a lot better for having fun with a few friends with minimum hassle.

Game consoles are universal and everyone's is the same (other then hard drive size and other tweaks). PC's are not. This means in a short ammount of time you will be out of date in regards to the demandments of the newer games (Quake III console in comparison to Diablo II's).

You misinterpreted my statement. I was making a comparison between the requirements of Diablo II and Quake III due to advancements in technology.

Computer games are like porn.

A fake existence. You need to get rid of them and live in the real world.

Championship Manager now that is one f****** addictive game!

PCs have a keyboard and a mouse. Those two things alone allow for more genres being availble on PC then on console. You also have joysticks and other controllers you can hook up as well.
