Yo Sydney DJ's,
Me and my mate are going to Sydney in a few weeks for about a week for a 'getting laid' marathon.. First time both of us have been to syd, and we wanna know what nightclubs are best to visit..
Could you just please list Sydney's top 5 nightclubs and at what nights they rock...

Maybe we could even meet up for a superb night out...

Well I don't know what the top ones are, but I can tell you good venues IMO -

Darling Harbour/****le Bay - easily the best place to walk around and jump bars/clubs. You have Bungalow 8, Pontoon, Docks Hotel, Homebar, Cargo Bar all around the same walk, along with a nice harbour in case you want to isolate for a 'romantic walk on the boardwalk'.

Establishment - nice classy looking bar which really goes off Fri and Saturday nights

Star Bar, Pavilion Hotel, 3 Wise Monkeys, Shark bar - easy to find places all around or on George St Sydney (central street in the city). Cater to about 18-25 crowd. Shark Bar and Wise monkeys have smallish dance floors.

If you're looking for actual clubs with dancing - check along Oxford Street - Tantra and NV nightclubs are the only ones I know there.

Coogee (suburb along the beach in the city) has some nice venues as well - including Palace nightclub, which is a multi level mezzanined place, 5 bucks entry on Sunday nights. At midnight the place closes on sunday, and everyone gets on a party bus to Empire Nightclub in Kings Cross where the party continues and you get access to the upper level VIP area (which is basically a lounge).

Other clubs that are popular but I haven't been to - Gas, Cave, Sublime. Star city also has some bars and clubs around it, i.e Score Bar, Lightning Ridge bar.

Recommend you enter in groups of no more than 2 guys, and wear club clothes to get in. Oh, if you look Arabic, Islander or "hardcore" asian, then you may have difficulty getting into places as well

hehe, nah, dw mate, I look as aussie as u can get (darkish skin though), and I dress nicely, not like some dodgy Cvnts who like causing trouble...
