Has everyone seen this movie by now? I really hope so. I think it really touches up on a lot of the DJ Bible, with clear examples of how NOT to handle things. I think it should be homework viewing to everyone new to this forum.

Funny thing about that movie Swingers (great movie, by the way):

I had this friend of mine who was really torn up over this ho that had rejected him (she had sex with him once but he was wanting more). He was reallly wallowing in the self pity and he was definitely going all AFC on her. I told him he needed to watch the movie Swingers. Especially that part where he calls the girl's answering machine like 10 times straight. I don't think he ever watched it though.
This was before I had ever even heard of this DJ stuff.

The great thing about the movie Swingers is that it shows you someone like Vince Vaughn's character, that goes out, hits on girls, whether successful or not, and never lets it bother him. Jon Favreau's character is wallowing over a relationship thats been over with his ex for months. Finally Jon's character runs into Heather Grahams character. There it is! ", he finally connects with a beautiful girl named Lorraine (Heather Graham). The next day, he gets a call from the ex-girlfriend he's been obsessed with but rejects her offer to get back together when Lorraine rings in on the other line." The best cure for heart ache is to find something or someone new!

But in the end,Favreau character remains a Nice Guy.Eventually Lorraine would get bored of him and he would baby cry again.
