Can a neanderthal or Greek rower make a 2400 meter shot w/ a a rifle? Can these people fly a plane, program an ERP system, contemplate quantum mechanics?

There's no question we can't do half the things our forebears used to do physically. The difference is, we don't need to. We are so far up the food chain we're not in it anymore.

Does this mean we're emasculated or wimps?

Get used to it people, we don't use physical ability as a test of usefulness to society because we don't need to anymore.

The article's about how prehistorical Australian aboriginals were more muscular and athletic then men today. That's nothing new. In any event, the scientist didn't say men today were "wimps", the headline writer wrote that to make a sensational headline out of an otherwise not so newsworthy story. Regardless, to jump from how Neanderthals were more muscular to how "bad boys get the girls" is an even bigger leap than prehistorical Australian aboriginals could jump.

I thought this was an interesting article, but what does this really have to do with women? Neanderthals died out long ago for a reason. Modern humans were smarter and could better adapt to their environment than the neanderthal. There is also evidence that the modern human killed off all the neanderthal to get rid of the competition. Point is, intelligence won over pure brawn. We are more highly evolved than them.

What is a bad boy? Is HE bad because he isn't afraid of his sexuality? Is HE bad because he goes after his ambitions in life and doesn't let things stop him? Is HE bad because he doesn't walk around not believing in himself and believes he can have all life has to offer?

Or are you talking about criminals and jailbirds?

We get so used to these labels and stereotypes it's funny.

And for the record, ALL TYPES of guys get girls. Even ones that you say that are wimps, I see it everyday. It depends on the girl. No girl ****s only ONE TYPE of guy and MOST guys are average Joes considering income level and contribution to society, very few guys aren't "average".
