Another way to get a high post count is to reply to everything everyone else says, no matter how asinine it is.

By the way, bump.

There's no need to roleplay on this site. It's quite obvious your anger is an act (note the caps lock and the exclamation points). You should be pitying yourself for being such a fake.

Yeah!

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Having the post count has not created any problems as far as I can tell. And I would assume that most people like it.

In fact, when I'm on other forums and they have the post count removed, it greatly annoys me because I want to see how active certain posters are without having to pull up their profiles.

And although post count doesn't equal DJ knowledge, it would, in general, be a pretty good predictor.

I'm actually slightly embarrassed by my post count, as well as the info about how long I've been a member. If I could justify it by saying that I've become an accomplished DJ in the process, it would be just fine. But I really can't. It's something I'd rather not be reminded about, and I certainly wouldn't mind it not being visible to others. But what are ya gonna do?:(

Well, age is optional. Post count and registration date could be too. All you need is a few lines of php code and a checkbox in your profile.

[ ] Show registration date
[ ] Show post count

...but I don't think Allen can properly configure that. Mind you, I'm going off the fact that "Age:" shows in the user column even if there's no value associated with it.

But Demon, I thought you wanted everyone to see your massive, stimulating post count so we could all bow down...expect for Gio.

i think there should be different post counts for different forums. or, one post cont for all the daun juan forums, discussion tips and high school, one forhealth and fitness and one for anything else and suggestions and feedback.

Those options would be for individuals. If I want to show off my throbbing... well, you get the picture... I could just enable the "Show" options. So if someone didn't want to show their post count, etc. publicly, they can disable it in their profile setup.
