So a few weeks ago, I'm killing time on the internet and just for a laugh, I post an online ad on an internet personals site.

Up until a last week, I had gotten maybe 4 or 5 responses, but only 2 of them were above average looking, say in the 6-8/10 range. Within the first 2 or so emails with these 2 separate women, I go for the phone numbers - hmmm...no reply back - BIATCHES! Women are funny like that...
Move forward to last week - got another response from an 7/10. Keep the email light and minimal then ask for her number, telling her right up front, something along the lines of "it's hard to get to know someone
online because you don't really get to interact with them or see what they look like in real life, etc... I think hanging out sometime would be a good idea, yadda yadda." Surprisingly, she agreed. She emails me back her number.
I wait 2.5 days and make the call, but get her voice mail. I leave a short and sweet message, and a number she can call me back at. Surprisingly, 4 hours later she returns my call. I engage in a little small talk for about 3 minutes, then we make plans to meet later in the week. I note a little bit of hesitation in her voice when it comes to making the date (just nervous?)...
Anyhoo, all this time I kept the DJ credo at the forefront of my mind. Be a man. No hesitation. If she says no, big deal, move on, she ain't the only fish in the sea, etc...so there you go - an fairly successful internet story, now if the chick actually shows up for the date, that's a different story LOL.
