It's pretty small, but it has cost me alot of girls before I realized what I was doing wrong, and it was freaking the girls I liked, out.

Mistake: Eying up women, keep staring at them
Lesson: Don't keep staring at them, and if you DOget eye contact, for god's sake, smile! Show them, that cheeky grin, and perfect to approach and introduce yourself.

Mistake: Getting incredibly drunk in front of a girl I liked
Lesson: Man this happened four years ago but still feels like it was yesterday. I know some people have sort of covered this one but trust me it is so important!

If you want to get really drunk, it's best to only ever do this in front of your close mates (or perhaps in an established LTR but this is still dangerous ground).

Basically there was a girl at work and things were going really well (flirting etc).. until one night at a party I proceeded to get absolutely hammered. Bearing in mind she was giving us a lift home and thus completely sober this wasn't a good idea at all, but at the time I really wasn't thinking like that.

I was having a good time, but for some reason (I don't know why, but I hate this) sometimes when I get drunk I start acting a bit stupid. I don't realise at the time (in fact I think I am the funniest guy around and everyone is laughing at my jokes) but in reality I basically am acting like a complete d1ck.

I started making very tasteless jokes about people's mothers, and... I won't say the rest but let's just say that was the tip of the iceberg. I can remember a very awkward journey home (hideously painful when I awoke and sobered up) and let's just say it just about killed any attraction she may have had for me there and then. She left the company soon after, and that was the end of that.

So only get really drunk in front of people who you aren't trying to attract sexually!!
