Stuck!!!

Okay, here is my current situation and I have been improving lately and really haven't posted but I really need some good advice on this one. I have been flirting with a girl lately, and been getting what I see as a good response.

Now, one of my nosy a$$ so called friends decided to step in. He told this girl that I liked her and all. Well, I guess she has asked a few others if they really think I like her. Now, I see too things. This was a few days back, and she is still talking to me and all like we have been for the last couple of weeks. Do you think she is asking because she is like, oh my thats just freaky or do you think she is really curious if I am interested or not?

I just need some good advice and a little motivation, I am a little down right now and don't know where to turn anymore.

My next question, just again for some reassurance to make myself better, how does one suggest going about asking a girl out. For some reason it seems you would want there to be a time and place, and really to me saying "Will you go out with me?" sounds way to much like getting married but "Want to go out?" sounds too elementary. Again, I am just stuck!

Take her somewhere, for a walk around a lake or something. Then try a kiss close on her. If she kisses you, say something along the lines of "Go out with me".

Ooooh, that sounds like a good move.

Only problem I've had with plans like that are the random stuff, roommates around when they shouldn't, inopportune calls, hit in the face by a softball, etc...

I would suggest making a move soon though, a kiss is usually good enough to explain your intents.
