Strong, Silent and Capable type in College

What are your opinions and theories on this type of male in college? He may not be a true "DJ" that you would think of when asked what a DJ is, but could this type of male get women? What about vs a "Cool extrovert" guy?

Nowadays it's questionable if the strong silent type holds the same amount of value as in days past. There may still be a market for that type of guy but it may be limited to women who aren't as comfortable with the charismatic, outgoing types of men. In university it seems that popularity is the key and a guy with charisma and an outgoing personality tends to be more popular. So like it or not, guys may have to choose between stepping forward beyond their comfort zone or stepping back into background and hope to be noticed.

Being a strong, silent type may get you noticed (especially if you are goodlooking) but not much else. Girls today seem to want the fun guy.

i think you can pull this off, but you would have to act different when your on the date. more outgoing mostly. and in college ask girls out.
