Hey, if you just plain don't feel comfortable dancing, and you haven't found the time for the Arthur Murray School of dance,

then try saying this. " Sorry, I don't dance. I have a theory. I don't trust men who dance, and I don't trust women who don't."

Then just smile and maybe chuckle as you walk off for another brew....

But, you will definitely increase your success and confidence if you learn to dance well.

i just read the first couple of posts, eveyrone else decided to write way too much for me to read

i have like 4 friends there, 3 dudes and this 1 hot chick, shes in a sorority so if you go to that crap PM me and i can hook up with her, shes hot

the guys say all the chicks there are dumb, hot, slutty, rich, and COKE HEADS

girls there shouldnt be a problem, just grab your balls and go for it

as for a party, i suggest going to many more

if you drink, get drunk (its fun/good expiericne if you havnet done it before... soundsl ike im right)

dont put so much pressure on yourself, go there looking to have a good time, YOU DONT HAVE TO PICKUP ANYONE

but if you want to, do this (with wanting to just meet people guys or girls, not just picking up chicks... work on your social skills)

go up to a girl/group of girls whatever (better to have a wingman with a group, but not needed... ive gotten plenty of ace by going up to groups of 4 chicks bymyself or whatever)

you dont need EC

to start off just say HI, im ____ and shake their hand

here is a little rundown of what to do

if 2 or more chicks, ask how do you ladies no eachother?

how was halloweeen
whatd you do
did you dress up (bust on them for dressing up or not dressing up)
where you from
go to school here
etc

and re: the party. chill out and talk with as many people as possible. don't pressure yourself to hit on girls. you gotta develop the right attitude before you attain success anyway.

Thanks for all the replies fellas, i'm almost confident i can go out there and just have fun now. If i try to dance for the first time ever, how does the grinding thing work?(i know this may sound stupid, but just answer it man)

Also, don't worry, very few ppl have the moves to tear it up at a dance party in college (well, depending upon where you are). Learning to freak is something that you kinda need to practice, and where better to practice than a party. Just lead, be dominant, act like you know what you are doing, and you will be fine. The more relaxed you are, the better dancer you will be.
