I never expected the Big Brother organization to insult grown men, but that's their latest pitch at least in this area of the woods. I was part of the Big Brother/Big Sister organization in college, and it's a great group as men can show leadership to disadvantaged kids who have no fathers.
Anyway, the commercial shows these men who can't play basketball, can't coach, can't keep house with little kids saying, "You need me to help you," or something of that affect.
A strange approach, I guess they're trying to be cute or something. I'm not sure how making men -- who will be role models for these kids -- look stupid helps their cause.
I'm so numb to these commercials now that it almost doesn't register on my anger meter ... but I eventually came around.
If you pay attention, you'll notice adult men are being insulted about 99 percent of the time on TV ... and I don't even watch that much TV.
I know, it won't affect the DJ's here, but the constant man-bashing is having a bad affect on our society.
