Theres more to this than meets the eye...Ive been in this situation with 5 consecutive girls...I understand the low IL thing...and have that down pat..but what i wonder is if there is more than that...for instance what i wonder is if this is a sign of a girl who is passive & weak....Is it really that hard to say no...I dont think so..I asked a girl for her # last week and she flat out said no...So why in the phuck would a girl give u her number only not to talk to you...Thats just so Pi$$y...IMO: Girls who do this are either:

Are you saying that girls are so incredibly intelligent as to pick up on if you're an AFC or a 'Cool Dude' within 3 minutes of meeting you and getting their actually real number? To me, getting an 'actual' number is a step in the right direction.

You said there are only 2-3 minutes before you # close, so its not enough time for a girl to know if she's interested in you or not. That's bullshat!! She knows right when start working your game on her within the first 30 seconds if she's interested in you. Its been said and I've asked many chicks about this, that girl s know if they would let a guy fuk 'em within 5 minutes.

It's different for men and women in this situation. Rarely, you will have a girl come up to you and ask for your number - and MORE rare, you will give her a fake number.
But, on the occassion where this has happened, it was usually someone I was introduced to at a party or friends-of-friends gathering.
I choose to give my real phone number to a girl that I have low IL to because I don't want to come off as a jerk. In my head, I'm thinking LJBF to the girl. So, I can't be an A-hole and give her a fake number. So, I give her my real number. She calls, then I make up excuses why I don't answer or I never call her back - Cell phone is broken, Work is keeping me busy, etc. Funny thing, the girl becomes AFC and is ALWAYS calling. It gets more annoying, and after a while, I never call her back.
Honestly, I don't know how you met this girl. But, she might just be trying to be nice. She might think LJBF to you, and, you feed her thoughts by constantly calling her and acting needy.
If she REALLY wants you bro...there are regular telephones - she would have called you from home.
