Sticky Situation: GF's House Party and Her Male Friends

Ok so my gf is having a house party at her university which is about 2 hours away from me. She wants me to come down this weekend however i'm kinda wary as I know her and her house mates combined have tonnes of male friends that most likely will be trying to crack onto my gf especially (hb9).

Now i no not showing up is a ***** option. I'm expected to be there. However how should i deal with all these guys? I'm not really the big tough guy (unfortunately). I trust my gf however im scared of looking like some kinda beta around all these groups of guys, in my own gfs house.

I don't really have many friends that would b willing to travel up with me so its likely i'll be travelling up by myself. I know a few of her friends but only the girls.
Is this sticky? Or am i just being *****?

I think you're overanalyzing things. You will appear to be BETA when you act like a beta: Running around the house doing her ****, picking up after her or constantly sucking up to her.

Instead, spend most the evening talking to other females instead, flirting, having fun and showing you're an alpha. Focus on the girls, and make her wonder what you are doing, instead of otherwise. I kind of understand your worries.

Because you can't overpower them (you can't bring your friends as you said) I would outsmart them.
If I was in your shoes I would show lots of interest in these (girl)friends of her and just try to have fun with them. You won't look like you are worried about your gf and your gf will probably be more worried about you then you are about her (if you really show her that you are having lots of fun with her friends).

In my experience these situations really turn out according to the state your relationship is in, if everything is cool, her interest is high, is smooth sailing and you don´t even need to do much. If things are going south it can turn into a fvcking nightmare, you are the visiting team and she has huge home advantage in a game where women allready have an advantage. Been on both ends.

So just relax, do your thing, talk to ppl (males also) and dont freak out. This is, in a way, a good test to see the state of your relationship. As long as you dont freak out its really more on her hands than yours.

I would just have a good time and be friendly with everyone, not just the girls. If you just focus on talking to other girls, your girlfriend is likely to notice and start flirting with the other guys. This would be very easy for her because she probably knows them all already anyway. You would be trying to beat a woman at her own game. Guys can't get attention from the opposite sex in the same way that girls can, especially if she is really an HB9.

I would focus on being chill and having a good time, and not coming from a frame of mind where you feel threatened about your girlfriend.

If he goes in there with the intent of making her jealous by flirting with the other girls, I think that just sends up a green flag for her to start exploring her options with these other guys. In any case, if things get out of hand, he should have a better idea of where he stands with this girl. Long distance relationships rarely work.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Do NOT play the whole "revenge" game. If you feel she is getting too talkative or flirtatious to one certain male, do not react by picking some random girl and being overtly flirty with her. You need to pull her aside and let her know that sh!t will NOT be tolerated. Be stern, but don't be over-reactive either. Things can be misinterpreted from a distance. Play it cool. My advice would to be make it clearly obvious she is your girl from the start. Maybe kiss her in front of them once or twice, or take a few moments to hold her and be flirty. (Of course, don't over do it.) But woman will actually love it when you show public affection, especially if you don't usually do it normally. If woman really like their man, they WANT everyone to know they are taken. If this girl invited you, then her friends obviously know about you, or will. Now is the time to make a good impression. Man up. Don't be Mr. Tough Guy, but be a man and stand your ground. It wouldn't help to try and "get in" with them as well. They will respect you a lot more if they realize you are a cool guy. If you are a jerk and keep a snug face the whole night then yeah, they probably will try and fvck your girl. Either now, or later. So stand your ground, be respectful, but also don't take any disrespect either. They should respect that, respect you, and your girl.

You don't have to show anything. Your girlfriend is your girlfriend, not his. If your girl is legit then you don't have to worry because she won't cheat on you; if she isn't then you're better off without her anyways.

Don't worry about it at all. Go have fun. Be the life of the party. If some dude is hitting on your girl just go up and introduce yourself as her boyfriend, have a nice chat and walk away.
