The video stated when it came to that: Only do so in case your nerves got the better of you. It may seem wussy but its better then doing nothing. In this case I would say that its better to do the approach anyway, even if you are scared and you will sound like an ass, she may still like you.

Ya no I'm British. That's a stupid sterotype created by American sitcoms which is hardly true. Well, maybe in the 13th century, but not in this day and age. No one eats crumpets any more!
