staying home every night - why such a turn-off?

Since most couples after they've been together so many years just start staying at home every night, why is it such a turn-off to women if a guy does that in the beginning? Like someone said in another thread, its fun or whatever in the beginning but then after so many years the "fun" fades and they just stay home every night. If that's going to happen eventually anyway, and everyone knows its going to happen anyway, why not cut to the chase and just start doing that right away? That's how regular people live...regular people just stay home every night and watch tv (or in my case play video games and go on the internet). Regular people just go to work, pay the bills grow old and die just like my sig says. That's real life. What's the point of all this silly stuff like going out and dancing, going out with friends, etc? That's not who I am, not who I want to be...and pretending that it is would be just that, pretending. I would like a wife or live-in gf to have sex with and just sit around the house and look pretty for me (and no kids, I don't like kids), but if I can't be me, be who I want to be, then I'd rather be alone.

My roommate hangs out with the same people constantly. I don't know how he does it. They aren't even interesting people.

If your idea of an exciting life is staying home every night, that's your concern.

You may however want to ask yourself if you stay home cause you want to or because you are unable to blend in with normal people in society.

I mean if you stay home now all the time, it's hard for me to believe that you'd fit in with normal people who go out and socialize on a daily basis.

Moreover, if you want, go find some farm girl who hasn't been opened up to the real world yet. I'm sure she'll sit at home with you, ride your c0ck, and serve you food. Every day. In and out. Cause she doesn't know any better, just like you.

The reason we don't stay home every night is because with life being so short, there is just too much to do, besides sitting at home all day.

Too many friends to make.

Sure, probably one day you and your wife will sit at home all day. But what will your kids do? Will they do the same? Will you watch your kids live the same sad life as you while you're rotting away?

regular people are boring average typical folks who usually work a 9 to 5. They are the people in the world who in a sense are controlled by the norms and stigmas, stereotypes of society. Normal is to be what everyone else does, never really being an individual. Now lonesome loser you ask why go out in the beginning b/c that's all that's going to happen in the end. First of all thats your problem. Your lazy and have no drive to do anything.

I for one certainly am far from normal, I play by my own rules in regards to what society has set for me. I'm an individual uncontrolled by norms, stereotypes, and especially the media. My eyes are open to the world and i'm aware that this is a big world FULL OF OPPORTUNITIES. So why sit around and WASTE your life away by having your eyes glued to a television and play games.

Trust me dude i'm not talkin down, their used to be a period in my life where all i did was play games and slightly ignore my social life. Then i sold everything i and haven't looked back since. Don't get me wrong at some point i will buy some games for my pad just because their fun, but you better beleive my game console will be used for small leisure time and social activities. Believe it or not most chicks who don't play games love to play WII - which in it's self is already an opportunity. I'm no doctor, but I'm getting the impression that the OP is a severely depressed individual. His username is self-deprecating and he apparently has no drive, no desire to strive for more in life. I suggest seeing a doctor, my friend. It's understandable that you're not quite as energetic as the younger members on this site but from what I can tell you could use someone to talk to, at least.

But let's be realistic. The chances of you finding a woman who's going to marry you and then stay home all the time to suck your **** and look pretty for you are rather... well, small. Not to mention that's some seriously stone-aged thinking you've got going there.

I just went on a skiing trip this weekend. And It was one of the best times I had in my life. I wouldn't pass up those exciting moments for any amount of money.

I think the reason a single guy staying home is a turnoff is because you are basically admitting you have no options and you aren't meeting any other girls. So you have no social value. You become sterotyped as the boring, sad and lonely guy in his Mom's basement. You have to give women the impression that she has some competition and she'd better get you before the next girl does.
