Here is my predicament.

I am currently working at Company A. Reached a plateau and had to leave in order to progress.

I am starting a new job with Company B very soon. It isn't my ideal move but has better prospects than staying at Company A. This is what made me take the role. It's been a few months since Company B offered me the role and I am still yet to find anything better. It could be another three to six months before I finally strike gold.

I've decided to keep on looking for my ideal role, even after I join Company B - I'm professional enough to not let job hunting affect my work.

I'm just going to leave Company B off my CV.

Let's say I'm leaving Company A in January and I have an interview in April.

My question is how do I respond in an interview when somebody asks what I have been doing in the interim months?

Say yr still at comp A - if u r still there the agents can't ring them. basically your current job is the only one you can lie about. You are doing the right thing anyway because the new job at Company B might not work out so you still should be creating options
