other people will start to realize that you are not as short with them anymore or they will notice that you seem calm and collected BEFORE you ever see it.
once you see it, they will think that everything in your life is fine and dandy.

st john's wort is much more natural and less expensive with less side effects than going to the dr for meds.
lexapro is the simplest form of those types of meds, and the reality was, it made me sooooooo exhauted that i could not make it through the whole day without NEEDING a nap like some elderly person.
st johns wort reminded me to eat when i had no appetite.
whereas, lexapro did not.

when time to come off of it, st johns had no side effects.
lexapro did.
a few panic attacks that i had to work through.

if you experience panic attacks, pm me.
i got some really good advice on the subject in an issue of men's health that i followed and i have never had an issue since.

I took it for about a month last year and others even saw an even more calm mood I had.

I recently took it for about a week. Picked my mood up and now I'm feeling great again.

I've never felt any side effects but I haven't taken if for extended periods of time. I thought it wasn't meant for long term use anyways?

Men's health eh? Looking at the sexy pictures? :D

One of the major factors why I choose St. Johns's is because it's cost effectiveness vs. the SSRI drugs. I don't have health insurance so I would have to pay from my pocket and I'm not exactly rich. Though I could probably get them cheap from the college health center. It just doesn’t feel right though using it for a long term prescription.

But still side effects from SSRI kind of turn me off. So far I've noticed no side effects from the herb but it's only been 9 days.

Thank you for the support.

Wow so only taking it for a week had an effect on you? That's pretty cool.

I haven't come across anything that says to only take it for a short term. Also as penkitten said, there aren't any side effects coming off from it. Probably the worst side effect is coming off it too early and still being depressed.

I guess the hardest thing is know when to stop taking it.

I got depressed last year after my divorce - when the loneliness kicked in from not seeing my kids.

Went for councelling and moved suburbs to get away from her. I had done research and will not take artificiall medication if there is a herbal solution.

St Johns wort is great - certainly helped a lot, but you cannot take it all the time as it made me feel a bit agitated. So I am starting to wean myself off it and will only take it if I feel stressed out.

I read that Omega 3 is much better - I take two capsules, but does not beat a weekend of hot s#x with my new GF :)
