Spots to find an older crowd of women?

All the local bars are college-aged type spots with top 40/mainstream kind of people that age.

I'm looking to meet a woman in the 26-36 range with long-term potential.

I live near Boston and I know i could find a lot of places there to sarge/meet the type of women i want, but that doesn't help me as I don't live in Boston and in the spring am probably moving even further from Boston.

What kind of local places (not limited to my town, but in that half hour or less radius) should I be looking for low maintenance cute older types? I've made posts about the type of women I like, and in no way think they're angels (and know from dating a couple of them that they come with flaws just like every other human being on the planet) but it's my type and it's also mutual.

I'm just looking to go on dates with late 20/early-mid 30somethings that could lead to something more serious. I have no interest in the top 40 bar/club scene.

There are a couple local pub/Cheers type places I go to for music, but the crowd there is more 40 up and not really for pickup.

Btw I'm not one of those anti-bar people at all. I drink socially (not to get drunk, but to have a couple drinks) just don't want any part of the college type crowd. I'm 28 and want to meet a woman with maturity both looks and personality wise. I don't like the whole "girl young enough to be my sister" look.

Women are like jobs. When you're unsure of them, you look for the long term. The regular, full time employment gig. When instead you are sure of yourself and your skills, you tend to seek out contracts, projects and businesses. Higher risk, much higher reward. In work as in love, most things similar.

Well I'm not seeking out "one girl" to live happily ever after with. I know it doesn't work that way in real life.

I'm just looking to find the right pond to fish in. Where I live, it's full of white trash and 6/7s that think they're 10s because there isn't much competition.

There are plenty of women and the types I like in Boston, but like I said, it doesn't help since I'm looking for someone fairly local I can hang out with, not a one night stand.

Just find some bars that a popular with people that are just out of college. 22-25 is the prime age for chicks, old enough to be somewhat mature and worldly, young enough to have their looks and a shorter opportunity to have extensively ridden the ol' cock carousel. They are also somewhat malleable in their values/interests, so there's plenty of long term potential there. You're 28, aren't we supposed to be a little older than the women we want to settle down with?

Although some of them have their heads on straight, it seems to me that 26-36 (thirty six?!? ) year old chicks are yesterdays news brother. Many are neurotic about being 26+ and unmarried - proceed at your own risk. I personally can't stand women our age...
