This is one of the quintessential community books that formed the PUA community and I just finished it up...I have to say I learned alot of interesting things and am now seeing the world from a different light. I haven't really been this inspired by pua material in over a year and I've been reading material for a little over 4 years now. Lets talk about it....

One of the things I found so interesting was the section on aggressive sex in the scene where the 2 adolescent couples were playing by the river. Both boys tried to force themselves on their girls and in the end the boy who raped the girl and made her cry actually managed to keep a relationship with her because he knew what he was doing. Whereas the other boy who did the same thing, yet in an inexperienced manner was ostracized by the girl and had a bad reputation all because he couldn't hold his ejaculation and proved to be inferior.

Also, I never really understood why women get more horny after sex than during, this is because the cervical filter becomes inhibited by orgasm and allows sperm a greater chance of heading toward the egg. After sex when the man has ejaculated and his sperm pools are inside the women she can either flow out the sperm if her body does not want pregnancy or retain it by having orgasms that allow the sperm a greater chance of reaching the egg.

I had no idea women had so many subconcsious issues to deal with. I'm far more empathetic now and hope to use this knowledge in the field.

i did not like the book, as it focused more on stories like a romance novel. i need books with more emphasis on technique and style.

I feel that the stories gave life to the concepts of biology that the author was discussing (still not sure if a man or woman wrote it). I felt like I could understand why the women were feeling these things as they pertained to her need to reproduce, hide infidelity to create strong offspring, or to resist sex in order to make the man prove himself to her.

Oh yeah. Women ARE on a mission. They just don't know it. It is encoded in their DNA, shaped by millenia of evolution.

AKA - Mr. Roboto.

Do you copy and paste everything Deangelo says into your subconcious routine?

Baker was pointing out the fact that women who are successfully raped in "rough and tumble" sex situations are much more likely to stay with the man then women who aren't. This is because the male who fails to demonstrate his superior physical prowess (control/dominance/whatever) is subconsciously written off as having inferior genetics or reproductive capabilities, and the female wants nothing to do with him.
interesting.
